Some tough decisions for the management tonight.
Does he give the players who've started the season poorly ( nearly all of them! ) a chance to redeem themselves?
Or upset the team dynamic by making wholesale changes?
With games coming thick and fast and players still needing minutes in the legs, I think it will be a combination of both.
The big shout is whether he will start Patterson over Tav? Or try and fit both in?
I'm not a fan of players playing out of position. To me, that should only happen in an emergency during a game ( Aribo at LB against Celtic springs to mind ) or too many injuries leading up to a game.
With that in mind, my team for tonight ( and I'm pretty sure it will have no resemblance to Gerrard's ) is:-
McLaughlin
Patterson Goldson Helander Barisic
Kamara Kelly Lundstram
Wright Morelos Roofe
All going well I would have Bassey, Simpson and Itten on in the second half ( depending on the subs picked ) .
Time for a few to stand up and be counted.
Time for a few to put their personal ambitions to the side and concentrate on Rangers until circumstances dictate otherwise.
Time for the manager to make a few tough decisions.
Time for the players to give a performance for the fans in the style of Champions.
And more importantly time for the fans to get right behind whatever side is picked.

I think if u don’t give the squad players a chance tonight after how bad the 11 have been there will be an unhappy camp.

Lets put out a team like that and see what happens.
Why have Patterson and bassey on the bench when they get right into the opposition whenever I've seen them play. Dunfermline might be more like lundstrams level. No matter what, I'm only going for a 3-1.

I would personally go with the players that I would have in try starting line up in every game and try and have a settled team. The only one that I would give an opportunity to prove himself would be Kelly.
Team would be McGregor, Paterson, Golson and Katic, Barasic, Aribo, Davis and Kelly, Kent, Morelos and Roofe.
I wouldn't have Arfield on the bench, we need to be looking to the future and sadly he looks finished, equally, Lundstrum would be in the stand. I would expect goals galore and would look to bring on Hagi and Bassey in the second half. I would also give Itten a run out but he would be in no doubt that his future depended on him scoring a couple at least and showing that he can boss defences!

Would be trying to move Lundstrum on now nowhere near good enough and makes Steve Davis look like usain bolt need settled defence and goalkeeper for stability too many changes Time to go with strongest team score a few goals and get confidence and get crowd back on side.

Not fussed about Goldson, could easily drop him as well but think he needs to play his way out of his dip in form whereas think Kent needs to realise his form again from the bench. Along with Lundstrum and Roofe. Wright looks like he is going to be an impact player, doesn’t seem to be able to keep his tempo at a high level for 90mins.
