So I think we need consistency.

There is a grey area in the rules that need clarified.

(a) If he is was yellow carded then there should be no escalation.

(b) If the ref sees the foul and agrees no further action should be taken then there should be no escalation - as I understand the rules.

(c) If the ref does not see the incident and its deemed worhty of punishment post match then it can be escalated.


The ref saw the incident, commented on it and therefore by the rules there should be complaint to to answer to said complaince officer. As per option (b) above - IT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ESCALATED.

According to the official rule book this ban should never have able to be applied, considered or even been raised for consideration.

Hopefully Rangers challenge this one - it was a red card if caught at the time but it wasnt, the ref discussed it, so was aware of it therefore no further action should be taken.

SFA this is your process!

Worse - The SFA are undermining the referee (a representative of their own organisation) . Calling his apitude, ability and ethics into question - ludicrous!

If so then your talking nonsense, it’s they're job, unfortunately we are big names and more obvious, Rangers can’t be complaining at every incident, if a player gets done for another club we won’t say a word will we, so no point complaining about getting done, if it’s a bad challenge, whataboutery is no defence.
