StevieG2,this is a total falisy amongst some on here that we have no cash ?We have cash to spend trust me ?For the correct player at a price that suits what we think we'll be able to spend cash ? We're not skint in the least my friend ? There's a difference of being prudent and skint.

If this was a Celtic site we would be going on about the size of the squad, the wage bill and the need to get rid of players . Beck would be their third left back and Kuhn will be their 7th winger ( not counting Maeda who plays wide) . These two players take their first team squad to 33 players, with so far only one player going out on loan from that number. Before Phillips was allowed to go back to Liverpool they had 7 centre backs and were still moaning about injuries. They are buying players of similar ability so it makes very little difference, when they spend the big money that they keep threatening too that is the time to worry. Even if they do get Beck on the ridiculous terms that Liverpool want, they will probably stick with Taylor anyway.

SWS, I agree. We have a wage structure. Its not just how much we sign players for, its also how much they get paid, and if paying a high weekly salary will unsettle those already here. The other side are making a big deal about this, but I'm sure PC will look at the bigger picture.

SwS spot on. In terms of our net spend over the last few years we must be in the black with a small profit.

We aren’t skint but they definitely have the capacity to outbid us and pay more for another ‘project’.

We are not skint but unless we can somehow move players on then we will be skint as we can't keep buying without selling. Unfortunately we have far too many overpaid under performing players who we will not be attracting many bids for on our books who will be in absolutely no rush to go anywhere due to the crazy contracts we have gave them.

I don`t know why you have aimed this comment at me but I would take the guy in a minute not just at Rangers but he would improve any other EPL team . I follow Arsenal down south and the thought of them getting him to play alongside Rice is mouth watering .

Celtic may have all this players but we still have a bigger wage bill which is ridiculous.
