Tbh you’d expect him to say that as they’re not our teams players and he’s already p’d off the QPR fans and board enough. They’re just outside the relegation zone and have 2 massive games left would be unfair on them for someone to try and turn their players heads. Would be like Kompany coming out and saying he was interested in Kent which I don’t think we’d be best please about just before a big game. Conversations might be happening behind closed doors but hopefully he’s learned from jan to not say anything about other teams players as I don’t think it’s the right thing to do.

Willock on a free is surely a no brainer, would very very surprising to not be interested in him. Dykes on the other hand would cost too much.

Unfortunately with the lack of funds we may have to look at players who may have had injuries and can be got cheaper buy I'm happy to trust MB based on the 2 he's brought in.

Beale was quite adamant that he was not pursuing Willock and that he would not be taking advantage of QPRs current plight . He could have shot this down a lot less definitely so I have to think we are definitely not in for Willock . Beale will look really bad if we do go back in for him later.

I don't think Beale is doing anything wrong at all in his first 4 months.
Quite the opposite, Cantwell and Raskin are first class buys in the window and Beale speaks honestly and straight forward.
Refreshing in my eyes.
I believe he is going to revamp us this summer, he will build from new and the dead wood will go.
It's not his fault the big boys are going on frees, that's a legacy!
But the squad will be smaller, younger and hungrier by preseason.

Ross Wilson played a big part in getting the Raskin and Cantwell deals over the line after Beale identified them as targets he wanted in the team, Raskin was calling Wilson Boss Ross in his early interviews lol.
