That would be a terrific signing if it happened. I've watched quite a bit of him in the Championship - hard worker, goalscorer, relatively powerful, not technically amazing but would do a great job in the league in my opinion. The only problem might be the money involved. If EPL clubs are interested that could kill it.

I live in the coventry area, gyokeres gets continual good write ups, looks like has a bit of pace as well as being a shoot on sight goalscorer. Swedish international as well I believe? Don't know how much he'd cost.

If Coventry win there game in hand they would be 3 points off 3rd they have a chance easily of making top 6 and having a chance of making the premier league he could cost over £9 million in January in fact.

Has age on his side but looks pretty basic skill level having a good season looks to have some physical presence but just feel not quite good enough could be worth a gamble if we get him on the cheap.

Still think we should be looking at quality proven CB RB RW and more depending on Morelos Kent deals.

We won't be able to get this lad on the cheap. We really need to be scouting beyond the English Leagues if we are to be finding a bargain. Eastern Europe, the Far East and North Africa appears to consistently produce good quality young players.

Also, what about the second tier of Italy. We have always been well served by the players that we have signed from the Italian League.

Not a chance of getting him, they value him at £10 mill plus and there is Premier teams sniffing around the lad.

Totally agree Berkshire market like ones you mentioned Denmark Holland and others have served us well in the past

We need to be thinking prso Averladze jelavic guys that could end up full internationals rather than lower league English that won't really go anywhere.

Bassey and aribo came from England both done well a think the lower leagues in England have some great talent.

Correct Bassey.

Yes I get that bassey1 but Calvin bassey and aribo are technically Nigerian internationals.

In those type of cases where they have option to play for nother nationality I'd say fair enough, as you have other avenues for world exposure to national teams.

But we should not be ignoring these other markets also wages in championship are usually higher than eastern Europeans and the like.

Your also naming the exceptions for every bassey there are like 20 average players.
