Just reading a column in paper with an independent firm writing that after this season the gulf in cash between us and Celtic is going to be the biggest it's ever been. They seem very happy at banking the cash and signing great players on a budget while we continue to struggle! Worrying times.

Why are we struggling? We are fighting back .? No?

We're only fighting back against the rest, Mols! What have we done so far against the tims?
At the time GVB was sacked we were 9 points behind them. We are still 9 points behind them, but with a worse goal difference. The numbers don't lie!
There is no doubt about it, we must beat them in the SC semi. It's not even up for debate.

In modern football and transfer fees thrown about we're only a few seasons of good player sales away from catching up. That's why getting FA trained talent in and selling it on is essential, like Bassey.

It says Celtic are forecasting 112 million turnover.
Rangers turnover in 2022 was 86. Joe aribo and Calvin Bassey make about 25million for us this year plus champions league money. They do have an extra 10000 season tickets but really I can't see us being too far behind them.

DeBoer, they have over £30 million sitting in the bank for reserves! We will go into the summer with no transfer budget or possibly £5/ 6 million to spend on a squad that needs overhauled and no sellable assets ✌️?.

Yately, they have money in the bank true. They won't spend it. We will try and sell Kamara, Hagi and maybe Lundstram or sakala. We will sign a few bosmans and spend money on Tillman and a couple of others. If the bosmans are good then we can have a good season.

Transfer values off our players that you mention and how much do you think we will get? Kamara £3 million at a push along with the same for Lundstrum?

The financial turnover we develop is important but the phrase in business is that turnover is vanity, profit is sanity, but cash is king. We have to consider cash flow when planning our spending. Not all the transfer fees in and out are paid in one go at the outset, the same with money from SFA, SPFL, and UEFA competitions. I am sure that every available penny we have will be spent on putting the best team on the pitch. I would never publish my transfer budget and I would measure success on profit from player trading and trophies won. I loved the Murray era but if we had made some money on player sales we could have filled in the corners and had more revenue from increased capacity. Just an opinion.

No sellable assets karma colak hagi cantwell Raskin Lowry soon to be tilleman. See the doom and gloom merchants are out again. We will spend about 13-15 million in the summer.

We have spent min 10m every season. And are in the best financial state for years. Barasic, Goldson, Davies, tav, kamara, lundstrum, hagi, cantwell, raskin, sakala, colak to me are all 3/ 4m+ players, some of the younger guys could get there too. Just a point to consider, did celtic not have around 80m in the bank when we got back into spl? I am sure it was around that.

Raskinloyal we'd be lucky to get what we paid for colak. Raskin and cantwell aren't sellable as we've only just signed them. We don't even own tillman yet and lowry has started 1 league game this season. 0 sellable assets.

Yately have you turned into sweep for the day? Might as well just turn the lights off on the way out.

Raskin, no we wont!

Jesus. money doesn't buy you success.

I believe we would get 12m for Hagi and Kamara this summer if sold.

26 Mar 2023 19:29:09
Storm, you are usually complaining and am only giving my opinion mate✌️Which you have just mocked.

26 Mar 2023 19:19:35
We waste money and they don't that the big difference. If we get recruitment correct we could catch them in 1 season. Its swings and roundabouts we will our time to dominate will come again.

26 Mar 2023 19:26:39
Lundstram and king another 2 sellable assets. Your deluded if you think we couldn’t sell any players it’s hilarious.

Beale will get backed same as gio and sg regardless a what the doubters on here say.

Sakala could rake in at least 5 million if someone from down south take a pop on him.

welcome to the team yateley.

Sakala 5 million? And I'm meant to be the idiot on here.

23.) 27 Mar 2023
27 Mar 2023 08:48:41
Sweep much would Rangers accept for Sakala? I'm sure 4m was knocked back in January.

24.) 27 Mar 2023
27 Mar 2023 10:02:30
Raskin, it’s possibly, rangers rejected 4 million from Burnley in the summer as Gio did not want to sell.

I’d say £5m for sakala would be a fair price he has pace and scores goals but 1st touch is awful but pace is a big thing for bottom end teams used to playing counter attack so he wouldn’t struggle to find a club bottom end of most euro leagues.
