like i said previously i don't think we needed the Brentford guy or O'halloran for that matter, but what DOES irk me is Mark Warburtons " we're very close comments with two additions" Now in anyone's language that means that negotiations are at an ADVANCED stage, so instead of keeping mum, why doesn't he come out and tell us all just WHICH TWO players ARE close? otherwise he is in severe danger of losing face with an awful lot of fans who look up to him.
We ARE going in the right direction, but we need clarity from EVERYONE at the club to maintain the respect we have worked hard for.

What if he's trying to keep it under wraps, wee bill, lest he be gazzumped?

Mark Warburton has said from day one that he will not talk about any other clubs and/or players whilst negotiations are ongoing as he feels its disrespectful to all parties involved. This shows just what kind of man Mr Warburton is and the class and integrity that he abides by. I agree that greater transparency and openness is sometimes needed from the Club but it doesn’t make sense to publicise our transfer targets as it increases competition which ultimately will cost the club more money.

The manger may have spoken out about deals being close but whilst the majority of fans are bickering amongst ourselves about deals to bring in O’Halloran and Toumani that have been in the media, he may have identified another couple of players that he would like to bring in but as always will remain tight lipped on who they are until deals have officially been completed.

Mark Warburton and his staff have a proven track record of identifying diamonds in the rough and many fans forget that he has a history of brokering multi million pounds. Sure there is a difference between deals for foreign currency and football players but the processes and negotiation tactics used are no doubt very similar and the manager knows exactly what he is doing in the transfer market.

I also believe the board is backing him financially but again if the manager feels that the deal isn’t right or the club is getting screwed over then I for one back his, his staff and boards judgement and they will no doubt move on to other targets.

Still over a week to go in this transfer market and we will no doubt see a new face or 2 but with the squad we have currently, I can’t see us losing the league.

sounezz if you are keeping things under wraps then it's best to say nothing whatsoever. The statements he has made have been misleading.
