i wish fans and pundits / reporters would stop speculating over mcinnes, neil, mcleish, monk, pardew etc.
it ain't going to happen guys. the board have chosen Caixihna so be it so let's come to accept it like it or lump it, he's here for a few years so let's try to get behind him.

wee bill

1.) 11 Mar 2017 18:10:17
He's just signed 3 year deal

2.) 11 Mar 2017 18:20:38
Eh? Disagree with what?

3.) 11 Mar 2017 19:10:17
What gave it away he was the choice? The fact he had signed already

4.) 11 Mar 2017 23:00:38
Haha espekay think people are just on the wind up with the disagrees lol

5.) 12 Mar 2017 00:53:37
Do u think he will bring Vladimir what everybody's view on this

6.) 12 Mar 2017 02:28:31
Would be hard I think he has 3years left on his contract and he is there best player and top scorer and there a club with money So will not need to sell or won't on the cheap. so think he could be out of our price range. The only way possible is if we show interest and vlad kicks up a fuss about wanting to leave like payet did but other than that I can't see it happening.

7.) 12 Mar 2017 11:06:55
Thanks deano well it would be good to see but plenty more fish oot there

8.) 13 Mar 2017 19:44:49
him on the left and and mckay on the right or through the middle would help us no end our attack would have more punching power and teams would as they should be finished in the first half.

im not too bothered about forwards as much as am defenders i am super exited to see new bigger better cb's coming to ibrox .

big clint has done brilliant this year for a guy his age and i wish him all the best in his retirement but we need new blood in.

cant wait till this season is finito

31 Jan 2017 17:22:36
i may be wrong but isn't there a bit of comparison with what Warbs and Weir did at Brentford ? They walked when the going got tough, and i think that is going to happen here between now and the end of the season.
You can see it in Warbs body language, he is NOT happy

wee bill

1.) 31 Jan 2017 18:08:53
They never walked away from Brentford. Their board wanted to start signing players based on statistics like you would in a game of champ man, he opposed the proposition and left. Also the going wasn't tough, he was one play off away from the Premier League. You been reading the celtic View?

More Bull! At least write something that resembles the truth WeeBull!

6.) 31 Jan 2017 19:20:09
brentford decided not to renew his contract, they wanted a different approach to signing players

7.) 31 Jan 2017 20:03:31
Carlsberg don't do walking away.

8.) 31 Jan 2017 20:11:21
exactly keep believing

9.) 31 Jan 2017 20:57:36
A few of the unwashed have some decent patter on here. Island celt is not one of those.

10.) 31 Jan 2017 21:50:51
No chance, both are fully up for the challenge and recognise the privilege and responsibility that the job involves.

11.) 31 Jan 2017 22:04:12
Wee bill your talking absolute crap there mate! Get your facts right before spouting absolute tosh like that! Warbs and weir amicably parted company with the brentford owner, because the owner wanted to use the statistical theroy to sign players, in which warbs and weir had no say! Warbs and weir rightly wanted to be in charge of who they signed! Brentford were adamant they were going down this european idea route so they ALL agreed at the end of the season to part ways! End of story my friend!

12.) 31 Jan 2017 22:14:28
No way wee bill, get out of here. They are both fully committed and fully understand the responsibility and responsibility of the challenge ahead.

13.) 31 Jan 2017 22:32:35
Keepbelieving, maybe it's no coincidence that McParland uses the exact same stats system when he's scouting.

14.) 31 Jan 2017 22:41:18
Cant believe what i was reading there. it was quite the opposite in fact, they decided they were leaving when Brentford were flying for the reason the guys in the above posts mentioned

21.) 01 Feb 2017 17:36:55

c'mon tell us exactly how your best mates with him and know his methods better than anyone else lmfao total gash mat

does anyone know which players have been recalled from their loan periods? I heard McDowell was thinking about doing this, but haven't seen anything since.

wee bill

1.) 17 Jan 2015 18:52:28
why have 5 people clicked on unbelievable to this? it is merely a question or do they not understand the post? would be interested in Ed's opinion on this, it makes me wonder why I bother and reading some of the "expert" fan postings no wonder our club is going nowhere, the fans havn't a clue what they want

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea why people do that, could just be people making a mistake on a touchscreen. We are intending to change it in the future, so that you can change your mind if it was a mistake, and remove your vote or change it to the other option.}

2.) Thanks Ed - nice to see sanity prevail!!

3.) I believe Craig Halkett, Calum Gallagher, Tom Walsh and Robbie Crawford all came back with Barry McKay, Luca Gasparotto & Danny Stoney all still out on loan. I could be wrong though as we obviously will never see them until they leave for free!

18 Aug 2014 18:46:41
apparently Stoke are wanting to offload Jamie Ness. Worth a punt since we need midfielders?

wee bill

{Ed039's Note - He is on loan at Crewe until January 5th)

1.) Pity about that I think Ed

2.) We have no money!!

3.) To be honest, no thanks. another one who seen his chance to jump ship!!

4.) Hes not welcome back at ibrox. after all the support rangers gave him through his injuries he jumps ship at the 1st oportunity

5.) Agree with the above posts that boy was taken all over Europe by Rangers to get to the bottom of his injury problems. Had it not been for the club he might have had to chuck the game and he rewarded us by jumping ship. Like the others he should never be welcomed back

6.) Stewie total agreement fae me mate you beat me to the post I though exactly the same as soon as I saw his name lots of our support seem to have short memories eh

7.) 19 Aug 2014 22:32:23
once a traitor always a traitor

8.) He couldn't get out quickly enough and has hardly had a kick at Stoke, there's a moral there, thanks but no thanks.

9.) 22 Aug 2014 15:16:37
no way. decent prospect but legged it so quickly it was almost before the first opportunity. not welcome back.

26 Jul 2014 13:52:11
just a thought - murray davidson is only signed up at st johnstone until august? would he fit the bill if ally can still sign a midfielder?

wee bill

1.) 26 Jul 2014 16:16:19
is he any good?

2.) 26 Jul 2014 20:20:06
murray davidson is not good enough for rangers he is to similar to nicky law and other midfielder's we have. I would love to see burkey back at ibrox a wide player with flare and pace instead of ally sticking a defender in a wide position it is going to be a long hard season I fear. ed while I am on have you heard anything about the investigation into duff and phelps handling of the administration its been a while since we heard anything. and if it is found they acted illegaly would it make any difference to the current rangers board.

3.) Why do u say that every player we sign will double in wages when we get back to the premiership when it is simply untrue?

4.) I never said all players I said Murray Davidson that comes to 1 player

personal opinion - nothing more.

Pedro will be gone by Xmas. He is nothing more than a hot air balloon, who still thinks he is in a bullring.
He has already started the sensation seeking tactics befitting to a matador and NOT a football club manager.

My BIG concern over him is that our board picked him, above managers who are well known and have good track records. I would love to be wrong.

wee bill

1.) 09 Apr 2017 17:03:57
I'd love to know what managers you are talking about! I didn't see any EPL Managers interviewed, or any top Bundesliga orItalian managers, who would you have preferred? McCoist or Barry Ferguson. Maybe you are fishing or maybe just talking sh! t

2.) 09 Apr 2017 17:06:42
@weebill - can you confirm the manager's with the proven track records as I can't remember any stand outs?

3.) 09 Apr 2017 18:22:21
Good to see that positive mental attitude, wee bill. Your unwavering support is a great beacon to your fellow supporters, keep it up

4.) 09 Apr 2017 20:00:42
This is exactly the type of manager we need who is not afraid to make changes and once he brings his own players who buy into his training methods we will see a much better rangers side than what warburton assembled as long as board back him with funds all players linked so far are free agents again.

5.) 10 Apr 2017 00:55:33
Maybe a matador attitude is what's required at times as opposed to the bull or is it bile you just produced wee bill

10 Mar 2017 18:16:41
i hope Caixinha brings in a Scottish No 2 to help settle him into our Scottish game. Although he is an unknown quantity in the UK I'm happy to give him my full support until we get to know what and who he is. I think he may lean towards a few European signings, i don't think that would be a bad thing.
My preference for assistant manager would be Neil McCann, assuming he has coaching badges, if not then big Lee McCulloch.
I believe the new boss is bringing in his own coaching team, not a bad thing.

wee bill

1.) 10 Mar 2017 18:42:03
Im sure he's bringing in his own assistant mate in Helder Baptista. if not i'd like to see wee Barry in there, definitely not lee mcculoch, iv never gotten over him walking off the park at half time laughing with fat Commons when we were already 2 down against that mob.

2.) 10 Mar 2017 18:45:22
He's had the same no.2 at all his clubs I believe.

3.) 10 Mar 2017 18:51:46
Local no 2 its saying its got fergie written all over it

4.) 10 Mar 2017 19:52:25
Alex Neil?

5.) 10 Mar 2017 21:59:33
Wee bil I would love to see McCann bak and yes he does hav his badges a remember him saying on sky a while bak

25 Feb 2017 12:13:22
King should be on the next flight from South Africa and should not leave Glasgow until he has the new manager in place.

wee bill

06 Feb 2017 23:27:37
its a real shame Jim McColl won't come out the shadows and bring his billions to the table,
Now that would solve some problems, AND buying off Ashley would turn out to be loose change to McColl, ah to dream .

wee bill

1.) 07 Feb 2017 00:06:33
same pipedream drivel on here nearly every day about sugar daddies it ain't going to happen let's try and move on

2.) 07 Feb 2017 03:56:57
Bears there's a wee Turkish guy plays for Walsall, first name Ozurk or somethin Luke that but he's a smashing player he's small but very talented imo. Anyways if Gers were lookin for gems he's one mid or not, think Walsall got him for 250k so god knows what he would go for? oh and I don't play footy manager! honest Bears keep an yes out for this guy!

3.) 07 Feb 2017 08:14:48
Andy1872, D'u mean Oztumer? He's 5'3" tall and approx 9 stone. Now I don't know anything about him other than he's scored a few goals this year. But surely we need a big strong CDM first and not another lightweight midfielder?

4.) 07 Feb 2017 14:43:53
Haha always looking for a sugar daddy! I guess the welfare state is always alive and well at Ibrox, no matter what team or tribute act is playing there!
Remember the fighting fund LMFAO just too funny

5.) 07 Feb 2017 16:02:25
Think he is still busy at the Beechgrove.

6.) 07 Feb 2017 16:12:12
ColoradoGREENboy, If it wasn't fot your own sugar daddy (wee fergus) your manky mob would have sunk without trace. You lot are so predictable with your memory when it suits.

7.) 08 Feb 2017 02:53:07
Parky totally hear what your sayin suppose all I'm putting across is he's a player I would like yin see at Ibrox BUT the other positions are priority. Not sure if the Turkish lad is a wingers or an attacking central midfeild? think the latter

8.) 08 Feb 2017 10:29:56
Wee Bill.
I agree that Jim McColl would be a great guy to have at the helm but I'm sure there is something written in to the contract at his firm whereby he is not permitted to invest heavily in an outside venture. Even though it is his firm the shareholders are in charge

04 feb 2017 13:44:16
i keep reading that rangers want to close the gap with celtic? do our fans not realise the absolute best we can hope for is to reduce the gap by 6 points if we beat them in both remaining games?

the rest of the gap is not in our hands, the rest of the league needs to start taking points off them too. we might be 25 points behind them but sadly this is not all our fault, they have only dropped 2 points, one draw, that's all so its not exactly rocket science to see.

yes we have dropped a lot of points to other clubs, but where we are at present the season is dead, all we can try to do is stay with aberdeen and try to pip them to 2nd place. next season is a different level of problems.

wee bill

1.) 04 Feb 2017 15:27:56
Wee Bill honestly mate stop making excuses, it's not all our fault? You seriously trying to blame other teams for our dismal performances? The truth is we shouldn't be in a fight for second place! Warbs has hade plenty of money. The guys signed 15 players and were talking 2 have maybe worked out. Its absolutely shocking!

2.) 04 Feb 2017 15:39:12
It's 100% our fault! We have dropped 6 points against Celtic, the rest we've dropped have been against the other dross in the league, so if this Rangers team had done what they should the gap would be 4 points

3.) 04 Feb 2017 17:00:42
Thats some proper left field thinking that.

Ball, Oduwa and Zelalem don't belong to us and Oduwa didn't cut it. As for the other 3 hardie and Burt got minutes on a couple of occasions so only McKay has been a success. My concern is for the other young talented lads like Murdoch, Walsh, Crawford, the McCrories, Jordan Thompson etc etc etc

How long then must they wait? Now we will be playing harder teams so they will be even further down the pecking order as we "wont want to take chances "?
Yes he IS making moves as you have said, but how many are actually going to get games?

its beginning to look like our directors are backing the wrong horses here and are in danger making a huge mistake. Why can't they act like normal people for once and forget the DOF role for now and get big Eck in to steady the ship. and if he gets us 2nd or 3rd then give him the bloody job permanently!

a number of players have been messed about and played in wrong positions by Warburton, and i see he is letting more youngsters leave permanently. The guy has no conscience, i don't like him, i don't rate him and his we'll learn from it attitude, he did well last season, but if you look at figures he didn't do much in the second half of last season except for the 2-2 against Celtic. I feel sorry for all the youngsters who try hard and think that one day they might get a chance? we've more chance of catching Celtic this season than all the youngsters have of getting a game

the deal for Jota is not off because its too expensive, its because Brenford want to use him instead of loaning him out.
