Yilmaz deserves a chance in the team. Borna, while not being "the worst left back in the country" hasn't been great for a while. give the lad a few games to see what he can do.

If Yilmaz stays which I hope he does (looks talented) - we would have two of the best left fullbacks in the country.
Barasic was unstoppable - for a period of time . when he was allowed to attack defences and you won't get a better crosser of the ball imo.
His attacking has been curtailed due to inadequacies in front of him namely Mr Kent doing half a job as usual- never covering nor supplying right passes to bring the left back into play.

I wouldn't write Borna off just yet if you look at the performances of both full backs this season under Gio I think they were uncomfortable with the tactics deployed. Let's be honest both Borna and Tav are not the strongest defending but playing higher up the park they can both be deadly. I honestly believe Mick Beale will get the best from both of them.

Barisic is with Croatia purely because they have nobody else. He had to play 1 game due to injury and was run ragid for the entire game, it was that painful to watch that the commentators even started pitying him and making jokes. He had 1 good full season when the fans weren't in. Before it, he was not existent. After it, he's been non existent. Can tell you now I'd rather jack mckenzie of aberdeen than barisic.

I met with a local Businessman earlier this week who is a strong Besiktas fan and knows some of the Board. His views were that Yilmaz is an exciting young player, very quick but still young and still developing. He did not believe that Yilmaz would wish to return to Turkey to play for Galatasaray at this stage of his career and believed that he would see Rangers as a stepping stone to the EPL.
He also said that he believed that Yilmaz would make Rangers a lot of money in due course as he was sure that he would be a top player.
As for Barasic, I don't think that playing under GVB helped him, (but the same could be said for a number of our players) . You certainly don't get to play for Croatia if you are as bad as some say he is!
He is certainly one of the best full backs in Scotland but then I guess you could say that he doesn't have a lot of competition!

Ridvans going no where and with the way beale has said he wants to play I imagine ridvan may be getting what he wants. Don't know why we signed a very good attacking lb but never used him to attack. That touch v queen of the South yes not a great team but that touch was pure class. The boy is a top talent. Gios defensive ball didn't suit.
