Should be looking at Ron Vlaar. Huge experience with the Dutch national team and the English prem. Always thought he was one of the better CB's in the Epl. Only 31 and now got his fitness back playing for AZ.

Great shout mccoist9, I've also heard mark beevers is signing for us from millwall where he's out of contract, I actually posted this about beevers a few weeks ago, good, no nonsense centre half who's solid and hard as nails, a similar style to arsenal legend martin keown, he's exactly the big old fashioned centre half we're crying out for, really hope we do sign big beevers!

Donald Love- 21yrs old - CB/ RB (MAN U)
Tika Musonda - 22yrs old - RB/ CDM (CHELSEA)
Cameron Carter-Vickers- 18yrs old - CB (SPURS)
Mathias Bossaerts- 19yrs old - CB/ RB/ CDM (MAN C)

All of these lads play for the U21 league, ALL of their contracts would be up in the summer so only a development fee would be needed. You never know!

{Ed001's Note - a development fee is only required if the player has been offered a contract which matches or betters their current one by the club they are contracted too. Not sure what will happen with Love, but he does look in very real danger of being released by Man Utd as he struggled badly in the first team and has now dropped behind much younger players.}

Love looked decent when he came on in man u Europa league game against midgeyland. I think we only really need 2 TALL CB's one for cover, a back up RB, and a few midfield players certainly a holding midfielder is needed. I have confidence that windass will score over 20 goals for us next season.
