Romours from the Sporting CP camp say. Jorge Juses ( manager ) is opened to talks with rangers over a loan dean of the player Ryan Gauld. But only if he gets play time. And Rangers pay them a compensation fee.

To me I think this is just a rumour but could be possible. But is CP trying to milk Rangers out of money?

Thoughts please on this?

Forgot to add Celtic are looking at him too.

Should rangers move fast in this one and not lose out on another talent?

Teeboy1 yes I have heard something similar. See my post from earlier - just could happen & we ain't spent a lot of money. Gauld & Swift to complete a fantastic jigsaw?

Yeah K-Dog. I think it is possible but again Celtic are looking at him. Do think Rangers need a striker and possible a keeper too.

I thought we were trying to build a team for the future? What benefit do these loan deals give us in the long run? We should be looking for players that we can develop for ourselves and not for others.

I'm quite happy with the lot we have got. Maybe a more defensive minded midfielder , but I am no manager.
I'm sure Warburton has a better idea what Rangers need.

i don't think we need any more players other than maybe a striker or we will have to big a first team squad then players don't get enoughb game time

Loan players mean we can keep more of the budget for when we need it ie next season, who knows some may even like it enough to stay

An out and out striker will do and that is us complete until January or indeed a whole season!

Non story, we have plenty of mid field players. SL would never loan him to potentially sit in a championship bench.

After signing the arsenal lad I don't think we need him. Would imagine with a fee for loan and wages it would be a bit of a waste of cash? Our midfield is good enough to win championship.
