We badly need a goalscoring midfielder, Lammers and Cantwell simply ain't contributing enough.

Fergie said this last year mate that we would struggle to replace the goals of tillman and arfeild, am sure they got over 20 between those 2 alone, we definitely haven't replaced them. I think our priority will be striker, but agree we need a goal scorer from middle of park also.

imo there's definitely a flaw in cantwell, something other coaches down south have recognised and steered clear, undoubtedly talented but so are lots of players, i hate the throwing himself to the floor, he almost injured himself the other night trying to get down in the box, he's going to come undone with those antics if he doesn't grow up, there's is definitely something not quite right there, i noticed this months ago and had a nagging worry about him, he very often flatters to deceive, real quality hurts teams every time, todd seems to be on the ground after running straight into trouble with his head looking down at his feet, he needs to learn how to find the killer passes and look up, not just wait for any opportunity to fall.

Yes Cantwell has his flaws, who doesn't. But he has also been played out of his position every game until the last 2/ 3 games. To accommodate Lammers of all people who everyone now must realise is a waste of a jersey.
Previous to that, Cantwell put it on a plate for the likes of Dessers and Danilo and a few for Sima which they then missed.

Let's not start blaming Cantwell for the fact our strikers are terrible.
Yes he over exaggerates the fouls / "dives". Most top players of that creative style do. Mbappe, Ronaldo (when he was good), if you watch the Prem games, there's loads of it. It's part of the game as sad as it is to see.

i was giving an honest assessment mate, not looking for an argument, I've been involved in this game long enough to see a boy has talent, i also see when he has flaws and could stall his career, again.
