The new DOF will be a "Game Changer" for our Club . It's an Appointment that must be "Bang on the Money". . Mistakes were made the last year that was an experiment imo that backfired with MB given way too much say in Players going out and Players coming in. Starting to think that Sakala may well be the one that got away as PC may well have turned him into a player . Wonder what plans he has for Ianis Hagi? He didn't get away . Time will tell . Even Colak may well have been a mistake . We'll never know .

Does any one think we maybe going with a Head of Recruitment and a Technical advisor, because that’s what Brighton have with Jewell and Weir, a lot of top clubs have the same set up . Just a thought?

I’m concerned re Jewell lack off experience, only been in role 11 months, prior to that in charge of academy recruitment.

John, I’m not impressed with Park and that’s not to do with his Celtic history, something doesn’t seem right with him and he must of scouted some of the summer signings. As for Jewell he his inexperienced and I cannot see him leaving Brighton yet . I was just using the Brighton set up as an example. The reason I posted this, is I heard the new gaffer Clement doesn’t like getting involved in the transfer side of things but he must of been told he has funds available to strengthen the team if he can’t get a tune out of the players we’ve got . Here’s hoping ??.

Brummioe, I am with you on Park, i'm not overly impressed but the guy is certainly ambitious so it will be interesting to see how he performs working with Clement who, unlike Beale, will know exactly what he needs and will expect his DoF and Recruitment Team to deliver.
I would dearly love us to secure Mitchell but as others have said, perhaps that is a pipe dream. There are however, other exceedingly good DoF's and perhaps we might just entice one of them to come and join us.
