If he’s the player folk say he is you have to Pay the cash if we didn’t stump Up he’ll have more options in the summer and probably command a bigger signing on fee! And exactly as you say we demand sell in fees so why wouldn’t other clubs! 20% of nothing is nothing if he doesn’t come! If he comes and lights it up standard and ourselves can made a tidy fee ??.

Info I got was 1M with 20% profit sell on. that’s a fantastic deal for us! I don’t understand the negativity around this deal tbh ??‍♂️ Potential for this lad to go for 10M+ down the line. Instead of looking at SL getting say 2M look at us making a 8M profit. great work Wilson!

Exactly John, if we never paid liege the money they wanted in this window we would have lost out on the player imo as teams with more money would have thrown signing on fee ect to raskin. As you said crucial signing for the club to move forward under Beale.

Totally agree John. We were willing to pay far more 6 months ago and would have been happy. OK we could have got him for a bit less in the summer or we could have missed out on a player manager clearly wants. If we were selling Kent or Alfie we'd be trying to do the same.
