Was just wondering how Leon King would do as CDM in the coming weeks. He's a good enough footballer with ball at feet and would protect backline and cover FBs.

With Davis out for the season, Lundstram and Jack struggling with knocks I think he could deputise in there and give us cover.

Kamara may or may not be on his way out and Sands just not cutting it, Leon might be the man to fill that position.

Davies and Goldson are definitely looking steady so game time maybe limited at the back and I believe the boy needs to be playing to continue his progression.

I've read that the coaching team see him as CDM in the future so do we think he will get minutes in there?

With Souttar on road to recovery and potentially signing another CB I think it would be a good move for all as he will get minutes and help fill an uncertain position. What do u think?

Definitely worth a shout, although he should be getting tested in that position with the B Team before trying it out on the First Team.

Has he played much in the position over his career and what's his engine like, I really don't know maybe John has more info on that. I would like to see him get a chance there but wouldn't risk as a starter atm. don't see why he couldn't come on though to offload players if were secure in a game.

Good post Arcade, would definitely like to see more of King. He was thrown to the lions in CL games and coped reasonably well. Must have learned a lot and now is time to get more minutes. He’s rated as a CDM.

Am sure John said that he heard that’s where rangers coaches think he will be playing in the future but it may have been the old coaches.
