See the thing with a take over I really can't see it being a good thing. Unless it's a rich rangers fan, from a business sense why would anyone want to invest. With us being in the Scottish league they ain't a lot of money yo be made.

The only serious profit would be champions league money, which then wouldn’t necessarily be reinvested in the team. Same as now.

Only way we could turn a good profit is by having a great academy and scouting set up. So we sell players for big profit. From where we are it's a big job. Too much dead wood at our club and injured players using up the wage bill.

Alloa all monies invested in club, hence why us shareholders don’t get a divided.

Yes John but all monies made in champs league, eufa run, selling our top assets etc and the vast majority pays off debt. Which is great but as the original poster said, no business man with any sense would want to heavily invest into a team in Scotland who isn’t a fan with money to burn. For example Ashley, in my opinion, would reap the benefits of our success and would not invest back into the team until he’d had his large share. Re dividends, when a business runs at a loss you can’t pay out dividends or the share price would drop through the floor.

Alloa 30% payements made re Paterson Aribo Bassey et al next paterypayment due January
Aribo next payment due July 23
Bassey next payment due 23 July

CL qualification money paid October 23.

Rangers had turned significant monies last year, due to europa league but chose to spend, so no major profit, no dividend.

May surprise you I know how dividends work.

I wonder how happy this site would be if Ashley buys his toy.

Alloa, basic accounting ~ no profit means no dividend. Can’t pay a dividend unless there is a profit.

As per John, the club has decided for some years that any profit will be reinvested in the club = no dividend.

John I wasn’t teaching granny to suck eggs and I’m not surprised in the slightest you know how dividends work I was just stating there’s a lot of money to be spent elsewhere before it gets reinvested in players.
Some folk on here would be delighted if Ashley bought the club and fell for his lies.
