Hi guys, just want to see what use think.

Some saying we are standing still this year by not doing a squad rebuild I. e keeping davis mcgregor and co for another year paying them big money when best days are behind them so we don't have to pay money to replace them and deley it for next year?

Reading a lot of posts on here I done agree to a point what some are saying the worry of not signing anyone for the first team squad apart from big John from hearts, we do have plenty of time in the window left but with the league starting in 4 weeks and champions league qualifying starting a week after would be nice to get players in to settle them in before massive games.

Also what use think will decent money be spent or all frees and very low prices for players until at least we see if we qualify for the champions league?

Gvb doesn't have a big transfer budget, all the money made last season settled the books from losing millions the past 2 seasons.
“The business model” they keep going on about, we need to sell atleast one a season to reinvest in bringing new players in, But we can't seem to get any decent bids for our players.
We will be waiting to see if we get into champions league before we go out and spend.

To be fair barrowlad that's James opinion that's why I don't like posting as there's always a negative comment from someone on someone else's post, as far as I can see how we have started the tranfer window I would agree james.

What part that gio doesn't have a big transfer budget? Or we have to sell before we buy?

We lost about 40 million the 2 seasons before last. So u think the money generated last season won't go towards settling the books?

How much money do you think gio has this window to spend?

I don't believe that any of us has a clue how much money Gio has to spend this summer and what players he would like to sign. Where I am delighted is with the number of quality youngsters that we have signed for the future and personally I would rather that we secured new contracts for Morelos, Aribo and Kent, than we took a risk on players that at best will be from the second or third tier of available players unless we are really lucky!
