Now that Davis has signed on for another year, there is a dilemma with who to move on from the already crowded midfield. Ryan Jack is excellent when fit but would not really command much of a fee if sold. Lundstram is just at that start of hopefully a great journey in a Gers strip. That leaves Kamara and Aribo as players who might make way for new signings. I think Aribo can operate further up the pitch and if we can get him back to early season levels then he must also stay. That leaves Glen Kamara, whom I'm a huge fan of. The problem is, he can't be a guaranteed starter anymore and is worth too much money to just be a squad player . I think if we could move him on for £10-£12m then it would be a good bit of business all round. It might even stop us losing one of Kent, Aribo or Morelos. The squad is looking good and a few tweaks might just take us to another level.

Don’t see how we need to move anyone on. Maybe aribo if we want to cash in or risk losing him for nothing. Ramsey already left maybe Lowry should take his place?

Why would they move anybody on? there's nobody came in so we woukd be a man down if someone moved on? Davis will barely feature same as last season.

Pretty sure Aribo will be sold tbh. The fact he let his contract run down at last club and now that he’s in final year coupled with concrete interest I’d imagine he will be sold for somewhere in the region of £10m+
I fully expect Gio to be shopping for a new CM or CAM if not both.

If we’re keeping players of a good quality realistically what areas do we need to strengthen and how much would it cost? I. e. if we keep bassey and Aribo and Kent and Morelos who do you buy that’s better? And none of these players are bench warmers. If we keep our best players and trim the squad is it not the case we don’t need a total revamp? What about introducing some promising youngsters and add a couple of signings? This is a team that reached a European final, without a recognised striker. Midfield we have David, Jack, lundstrum, Kamara, Aribo and Lowry and airfield. Who do we sign that’s better than our best 3 from that lot? Also have Hagi coming back upfront which should help.
