As we all know the devestating, tragic news of our greatest ever goalkeeper andy 'the goalie'
goram, who has terminal cancer ?I'm sure like me, you all will agree that andy was the greatest and correctly voted this by our supporters ?My question to each of you is where does andy goram come in with the greatest goalie's that have ever played in british football ?In my time only man utd legendary goalkeeper peter schmeichel was better than andy and only just?God bless you andy goram ?.

Loved Goram, was the reason I chose to be a goalie. Definitely the best keeper in Scotland in my time. Hard to compare UK wide as the role of gk has changed over the years. Lost a close relative to a very short diagnosis recently so all I can say is keep your chin up, enjoy the time you've got and remember the good times. Used to get a good chat from him in the Old Quarry Bar, always had time to reminisce.

Goram was an exceptional goalkeeper and I would personally put him ahead of Schmeichel, at least on a par with Gordon Banks.

I honestly thought in the 90s and early 2000s era only Oliver Khan, buffon and Schmeichel were better than Andy goram, I became a goalkeeper because of the goalie and I will tell you some thing every goalkeeper has a week side (most will deny this ) but I genuinely could not say what the goalies was he was like a cat getting up and down to both sides the man was just incredibly and to me he will always be the best rangers, scottish, British keeper I have ever saw in my lifetime ?.

Andy Goram
Alan mcgregor

To me that’s my stand out 3 all time favourites and all 3 were and are terrific.
