Just a thought chaps. Lots of talk about a major rebuild but if some of those young lads get a good pre season with the 1st team then I think a couple of positions could be already filled. Lowrey and McCann being the obvious two, then maybe, just maybe the rebuild won't be as big as we think. Give youth a chance.

100% could save a good few million by using the young players. Fans just need to be patient, it takes time to develop. Just look at Bassey. Most important thing is that they play as much as possible.

With the correct acquisitions then there has to be some of our young lads that can step up. King, McCann and Lowry all look quality and better than a number of those that have been signed over the past couple of Seasons. There are also a number of decent quality players that as far as I know are available on Bosmans, (not top drawer but decent quality players) - players like Vydra of Burnley who has been linked before, Ayew of Crystal Palace, Jack Stephens of Southampton and of course Sam Johnstone.
There are players in Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, (all Markets that have served us well in the past) . Niklas Stark of Hertha Berlin, Riechedly Bazoer of Vitesse, Thomas Strakosha of Lazio, Andre Onana of Ajax, all available as far as I am aware, come the end of June 2022.

Hope these kids do get the chance and any money used is only on starters. Bringing through youth players is still part of a massive rebuild tho without wanting to be too pedantic. .
