Thoughts fellow Bears?
Goldson left a bad taste with that interview he did about not knowing his contract situation. Seemed very arrogant to me. I did not like his attitude. Really feel he should have been dropped weeks ago. Hopefully Helander back soon and even Simpson given a chance.

Goldson should have been sold in the summer when he didn't sign a new contract, Simpson is a disaster, Tav is not a Leader and Barasic has clearly lost interest.
We lack fight, we lack leadership and today we had no tactics, no idea what we were doing and our substitutions were the strangest yet! Thankfully it was only the League Cup so we haven't dropped points but we really do have problems and only a change of personnel for a number of positions will help fix it!

Simpson is rotten and isn’t the answer, Helander probably won’t play before the game on the 2nd. Balogun and Goldson are shocking and Bassey can’t be relied upon to play centre back either. Team are a joke just now and the 4 point lead is soon going to evaporate unless something drastic happens.

No matter who's in charge if these players cannot motivate there self there is something fundamental wrong. as to Goldston if he is not interested or willing to commit to club (let's be honest he is a grown man able to make his own decision) let's cut our loses, if no one wants to pay fee in January. leave him out same as any other players who do not want to be part of team going forward. let's hope this is big wake up to all concerned and GVB has seen who up to the fight going forward.

Has Simpson really been given a fair chance? I don't think so. I for one want Goldson gone if his attitude is like this. i'd seriously go for Porteous with any change you get with selling Goldson in Jan. Guys got a bit about him.

We can only sell players if there is a club willing to buy them.
Not sure there was any bids in for Goldson in the summer mate
