Does anyone think we need some grit / steele for next season. I feel celtic have won some the midfield battles in recent old firm games. ( Alough we won the games) .

Definitely a replacement for Jack if he gets injured. I would also like to see us sign Gilmour on a 2 year loan if possible. We should be able to attract better players this summer with the possibility of Champions League football.

I’d love gilmour to join for a seeason but we’d need to guarantee him and Chelsea game time. He could replace kamara but if he stays I don’t know that we could guarantee the game time they will demand. Agree we need 1 really solid hardy type in the middle as Jack can’t be relied upon with his injuries.

Gilmour is a no for me unless two year loan deal no point signing a player to replace someone else if it’s a loan.

Kja91,i rate billy gilmour very highly but i agree it would have to be longer than a one year loan deal and that's why i said i think the young man utd midfielder james garner, is a more viable signing, as we could possibly sign him permanently 🤔.
