SGL - regarding your question who I'd like after Gerrard.
I believe Gerrard will be here for at least another couple of seasons to build on our impending success. I also think we should be thankful the board have stuck by him and allowed him the time to build a side capable of winning the league.
We were a basket case before he took over, ripping up the blueprint for success every season and wasting money on numerous signings.
I can't see that happening now - Wilson our DOF seems to be on the ball. Yes, we'll still have the odd error but we have genuine quality in the side just now.
As for a new manager, we need someone who can build on the platform already here - Europa League group stalwarts, competing with Celtic in one of games but who can take us to the next level again within the financial restraints of playing in Scotland. CL groups, winning leagues and cups consistently.
I would love a Kevin Thomson or A. N. Other to have progressed to be able to take the first team reigns.
But the Rangers job is huge. Not just in stature but in the challenge of bringing quality players to the club and satisfying a support where 2nd best isn't good enough. The appointment of Gerrard also raised the profile of the club which is important from a commercial point of view.
They will also have to work with our DOF and share his vision of where signing targets fit into the long term plans. We might end up going down the big name player again or a decent young foreign coach. No names spring to mind - hopefully that doesn't happen for another couple of years with Gerrard being successful after this season.

Like i stated myself MPH, i also think gerrard will stay as our manager for at least another 2 seasons 👍I would also love one of our coaches from within, like KT, to have the nous and ability, to one day follow gerrard into the rangers manager/ rangers head coach role 🤔
As you correctly said it has to be someone who knows the way our club's been structured to play from the youths, all the way through to our first team and to be able to work with our SD ross wilson, which obviously KT could do, as long as he had the capability of being manager of a club, our size 🤔It could work but no guarantees! I read an article last week, about how highly our SD ross wilson rates current southampton manager ralph hasenhuttl 🤔After all, it was ross wilson who employed hasenhuttl in the first place and i honestly wouldn't rule that out in the future 🤔Cold says GVB and again i believe that is a possibility one day. But like the majority of bears, i'm over the moon we have steven gerrard as our manager and hopefully for many more years to come 🙏We'll have time to reflect on who we all want as gerrard's replacement, when he does eventually upsticks and leaves rangers 😞So 'till that day dawns i'll treasure gerrard as glasgow rangers manager for as long as he's here 👍🇬🇧.

I would take a punt on Jermaine Defoe? - get him into the coaching now. I think he would command the same respect that Stevie G does.

Agreed mph. I agree for one gerrard will be here another few seasons, he is a born winner and won't just be satisfied with winning his first league title then moving onto new pastures thinking his job is complete. He is still learning the manager trade himself so i believe will want to be here to progress and learn from his mistakes. Which everyone makes. For one to better himself in his future career after the mighty gers whatever tht may be. I also believe he will want to leave behind a legacy for the future of the club which him and his backroom staff n board can take credit for. The profile has certainly been raised tenfold throughout european and world football. Players are also enticed to come to gers because of gerrard. Remember the days we had the cream of the crop of english football. Granted tht won't be the case now because of financial constraints. But he can certainly attract good players who are eager to learn from the best work under him and also play for the manager. Stevie G which is very important to any winning team. You have to buy into the managers philosophy and you can see the players are doing this. Everyone knows their role and what is expected of them. No player will be able to do this every week consistently. But our record shows we are obviously progressing and learning. Along with gerrard who is still a rookie manager. However i believe he will leave a legend with an empire left behind for the future manager to continue and hopefully build upon. We are still growing under him and he is growing under us. John25,if you don't mind me asking mate, do you think deep down there's a chance that KT could be the rangers manager/ head coach and do you think he's capable 🤔I've said on here before that i think it's a possibility that KT could be the rangers manager/ head coach, as he is very highly regarded at rangers, can work with a SD and knows the way the full club is structured and plays all the way through from the youths to the first team! I got slaughtered on here for saying KT months and months ago now!

I've got lots of golf gear so my tip for that would be the spersoner it is the better. Wear two pairs of socks as well incase you get a hole in one.
