Might not go down to well on here. But news coming to light Scott Allan may have to retire from football with health issues. With a young family this is not something that you want to see and with everything that's went on still kinda feel sorry for the kid heres hoping he doesn't have to retire.

You still kinda feel sorry? You mean you do feel sorry. Regardless of his decisions in his career. Health is first **** football. Absolutely horrible thing for anyone to deal with and have to retire.

family with health condition that affects insurance acquisition. diabetes is a serious and life limiting condition in the young. always concerned for the lad and may help explain financial decisions.

I’m hearing it’s a heart condition that’s been picked up. Hope he is ok and keeps well.

The boy done nothing wrong! He was used as a pawn by Stubbs and Lawwell in a stupid game of one upmanship that left the boy looking like the bad one. We could have offered 5m for him and they would have still knocked us back. That left him the choice of staying with Hibs, taking a chance on someone else coming in for him, or signing for Celtic and guaranteeing security for him and his family.
Football pales into insignificance when it comes to your health, family etc.

Totally agree with John25 and your health IS your wealth. Had my say regarding scott allan at the time he went to them, but when it comes to health, i wish the young guy NO ill and wish him all the best, with his health issues 🙏If he was to retire from football due to ill health, that's very sad news indeed 😞Good luck scott allan, god bless and hope you can come through this 🙏God bless.

My eldest Son age 50 has been type 1 Diabetic since age 5, I totally sympathise with Scott if this horrible affliction ends his career, but his health comes first, all the best lad.

As someone with serious health concerns and recently with diabetes too I feel for him too, called the most awful names on here by the same now saying god bless and spewing nonsense, , as per, let’s just leave the boy alone and forget the past.

Thanks SGL, yes, he keeps quite well, had a couple of toes amputated because of it, but he has mostly lived a quite normal life, the controls get better each year. The problem is that it keeps you out of certain jobs, that's where Scott may find life a bit more difficult, Gob Bless also. C'mon tonight Gers let' sdo it tonight, and give everyone a boost at this time.
