Great positivity coming out of our club and we all deserve this, as we've all been to hell and back over the last 6 years or so! We've got a model professional manager, now at the helm and he will, i have no doubt, go on to become a terrific manager for us, let's go steven gerrard! The signings we're making this transfer window already, are all good signings and will most definitely improve our squad and starting 11 in general. Steven davis will be our playmaker from deep, beside our defensive midfielder, ryan jack! Glen kamara is a strong tackling midfielder, with good technique and will also be a good signing.
Kamara remember has had a good youth grounding at the arsenal. Jermain defoe signing for us, speaks for itself. He's a fantastic goalscorer and will finish anything that comes his way, into the 18 yard box.
Defoe as an absolute goalscoring assassin!
Even at 36 years old now, his signing could take us very close to winning the league title, this year. His goals will be crucial for us. Now onto the last of our 4 january new signings to date. Kilmarnock winger jordan jones. Don't get me wrong here, i rate jones a very good
pacey, direct winger, but this might be the signing that unfortunately hints to us, that we just can't afford to keep ryan kent permanently, beyond his loan deal, this summer! That saddens me, as although jones is good, kent is a class above and i personally, would have preferred us to keep kent, on a permanent deal! So unfortunately,
it does look like kent will be going back to parent club liverpool, at the end of his loan deal, in the summer! The leeds utd signing kent permanently from liverpool for around £4million, could be true, right enough! Kent is a superb winger and i'll be sad to see him leave in the summer! But overall, we've already had an impressive january transfer window.
We're coming!

Supercoop, cannot help admire your energy and genuine feeling for all things associated with our club. You don’t half come up with some nonsense sometimes (Pedro the next Jose Mournho) but no doubting you commitment to the cause. A belated happy new year to you sir.

Reign it in coops, not one is officially signed yet mate. Think if we get Jones we might see midfleton getting loaned out next year, to get more gsme time. so woulent read too much into Kent situation because we've offered a deal to jones.

Not seen much of the lad kamara but he has been playing in the league so will no what it is all about i think he will be couliabalys replacement.
I also think the same regarding Kent that Jones will be his replacement.

Jones will be a good replacement for Kent ( if that’s the case ) he’s young and talented, I’ve seen him play for NI and was impressed, Stevie G will get the best from him, and Jones has always wanted a big platform, well they don’t come much bigger than Ibrox with 50,000 fanatical fans watching your every move. If he comes that’ll be four current NI players at the club, although I’m disappointed with big Lafferty, personally I expected more.

I think the most obvious scenario is kamara and Jones are squad players to replace coulibaly and grezda.

Predict Grezda will emerge as real talent in second half of the season. He was shocked at not making the Celtic match day squad and will respond.
