Inside info from Milllwall fan.

1. We still want Jake Cooper and this time its going to happen. Player is sold on the move and Millwall are reluctantly agreeing to sell.

2. We are also pushing to sign Scottish POTY, left back and former Rangers youth Murray Wallace. Millwall don't want to lose him but player in keen on return to Ibrox.


Source says these two have been great left side of defence together for last few seasons and would be good signings for us.

Murray Wallace and Giannis Kotsiras are two names that I've heard a lot in the last 4-6 weeks.

Both a massive departure from our usual signing targets.

Maybe we've identified that we need a different type of fullback at the club.

A bit of reseach n on fan forums wallace sems solind, devoted, n a well liked player, , him n cooper seem too have a good relationship n understanding, on the pitch,

If cooper was too come too us this could be a deal sweetner as wallace obs knows glasgow n is a good player too boot,

Both would be decent options n shore up our back line well.

Gofor devine although used occasionally as a left back is a natural right back. Wallace is left back.

I've watched a good number of Millwall games over the past few years (hence the username) and I'd be happy enough with both if they signed. They are both pretty solid defensively, and big Coop in particular wins everything in the air. I would say that Murray Wallace is much more defensively-minded than the two left backs we have on the books at the moment, and is actually arguably more of a central defender by nature, so if we're signing both to play in the first team that would suggest to me that Beale is going for a more pragmatic approach.

Gofor Gerrard was wanting Cooper when Beale was coach, players signed this summer will be Beales decision, hopefully he gets it correct very happy with Dowell more quality like that will do me.
