We need to get Whittaker here before the window closes. It sounds like we’ll need to up our bid for him quite a bit. I’d be more than happy for Cantwell to join on during the summer, rather than spending over £1m on him now.

Why's that John? He was asked directly about 2 players and just said they were good players. He never brought there names up. Also he is the manager and if he doesn't want players in on loan then surely that's his decision. If Wilson/ Board are forcing loans on him that makes his position untenable. 2blue need. to be smarter so Beale blabs about cantwell what if Celtic turned round and signed. him to get one over on us would you be singing his praises then? Naming a player instantly puts negotiators under more pressure and the other clubs know this and use it to Thier advantage.
There a difference with being honest regarding players injuries and revealing the business your doing behind closed doors and if you were a true rangers man you should know this is not how our club has traditionally handled stuff.
