John a seen you had posted that McCann is wanted by Luton way down the pages now, couple of mates said he had never heard about his link to Luton, can you tell me the price there wanting to pay for McCann if you not it, McCann would do well down there I feel, Luton great club.

McCann another example I thought this was a promising young lad with a future in the Rangers first team now we are considering shipping him out to Luton and hoping to recover a mere £750k. What went wrong?

Will be a big sell on fee 2blue, but I would keep him and hopefully he kicks on at our club, saying that I think he could do very well at Luton they have a couple of good cm but I believe he would get plenty starts for them and Luton is the English team that I follow. superb football club.

Always a risk with these young players especially when paying good money. Man U thought he was a decent kid but unable to kick on. To be fair I’ve never seen the boy although at his age and background he should have been making it difficult for the manager to leave him out of first team squad.

He's turning 21 and not able to breakthrough, he needs to move on for his own career, especially when we have a few players 2 years younger in his position at the same level he's at.

The plan was for MCCann to learn from Davis and take over from him. We’re now being told Davis is going to stay for next season. If these young guys don’t get get time they WILL leave.

Same with McCrorie if he doesn’t get an opportunity soon.

John I don’t know his worth, I am going by comments on here that the boy was a good prospect with a future in the first team. We seem to be snapping up lots of prospects which play for the B team but not seeing them breaking through to the first team. Many on here were calling for McCann to get a chance but that hasn’t happened instead he's on his way out. You know better than most as you often watch these boys playing. We need to bring some of these lads through and cash in in the future but not seeing it happen. Lowry is an example one of our better young players but not breaking into the team. I guess from what you are saying the £750k he cost us is all he is worth unless add on’s bring in additionals in the future. Real talent can break into first team football at 17 years old. If your good enough age is not a barrier!

2 blue if we determine a player is not making our first team we tend to accept below development fee and look for a decent sell on clause.

We have certainly done this with both Kelly’s, Mccrorie
Middleton, rangers with Wilson under these circumstances won’t stand in way off a player.

The issue is that mcann is our most expensive midfield signing, so if he were to leave I think it’s reasonable to make 750k back.

Beale65 no offense but really when do we ever have a real plan to develope youth most of our recent ones have been by luck more than design McCann and Lowry obviously two very talented boys but with every month they are not playing first team football they take a step back we still call players prospects when the should be established Lowry 19 and still not really getting a shot he should be in playing now so when he developed more physically he's ready to take the nextstep in his career unfortunately I don't think he'll ever do that at rangers as our recent signings have proven.

Sweep I thought you were taking about Morelos can't mind of you mentioning McCann you must have tho, many young players go down that road then sometimes it is to late or they get messed up.
