If rumours of kamara and Patterson to Everton have any grain of truth why are we being linked with wide players in Olson and summerville.

Mate it’s all just rumours wouldn’t worry about it at all.

Why not, just because they are not directly related doesn't mean that they are any less likely for that.

If Patterson and Kamara go there will also be a need for replacements (midfield and defence) but the squad overall has to be considered not just replacements.

It may be part of the overall upgrading of people in certain positions, with Torre and Simons also being mentioned in other rumours.

They aren't true. That guy has been on twitter for years winding fans up. He did spurs in the summer i'm sure. Patterson might well happen if they sell digne but kamara is a non starter.

Tjrfc digne is a left back Patterson is a right back and they have already signed someone to replace digne already today.

They have signed a replacement for Digne who is also a left back btw mate.

I’d hate to see Patterson in particular leave but both him and kamara I’d hate to see go. However for me to least affect the first team and title race I feel to get 20 odd million for them would be better than loosing Aribo or kent in January. So unfortunately if we need to sell which is likely due to losses and C.V. uncertainty then I’d take the hit on them before other first team players who could possibly claim a high fee.

Think guys point is Everton don't really have a decent back up for Coleman and he is getting on in years now.

People close to the Club have highlighted that Benitez did not get on with Digne and had identified his replacement a while back and terms were already agreed for his transfer to Everton. Patterson has been watched at all Scotland's International Games where he has played and my understanding is that Benitez sees him as a low cost replacement for Coleman who is now injury prone. At a fee of around £10m it is seen as a risk worth taking given that he fits the mould of being good defensively and able to overlap, (very similar to the role that Coleman plays) . As far as Kamara is concerned I haven't heard anything from Merseyside of Everton being interested in signing him.

Was reading more on boy xavi Simon's there's no way we're signing this guy when he signed for psg as a youth he was on 20k a week fact it's a few years later out of contract and highly sought after he will be 50-60k minimum no chance we are signing.

Go

I can’t see us signing him either but he doesn’t want to go to a team where he won’t play 1st team football that is now his aim allegedly.

You do no if psg like this boy and see a future in him the could upto 80%of his wages what the difference from psg and a top EPL team who wee hsvc had loans from in the past.

I'm well aware Digne is a left back. They need the money from his sale to sign patterson.

Tjrfc, I don't believe that Everton has a problem finding funds for the transfer of Patterson. In reality, getting Patterson for £10m will be a low risk investment. The bigger problem that they have is the Fair Play Rules where their previous DoF wasted a large amount of money on failed transfers which created huge losses for the Club.

Realistically, Everton would HAVE TO sell players to sign anyone. Their wage bill is the highest in the EPL %vs income (over 80%! ) they've been running worse in the red than the celtic like to go on about us doing so. I genuinely don't see Everton signing anyone for 9 figure sums until the summer at the earliest as a result; they will need to a secure europa league place as a minimum along with flogging some players to be able to do that.

Tjrfc that’s wrong also they didn’t need the money for digne.

From the same reliable sources close to Everton that have highlighted that a new bid would be made I am told that the terms are initial fee £12m of which £10m immediately in cash. Additional £4m, (making a total of £16m), based on Patterson reaching a number of first team appearances. Sell on fee of 15%
Patterson will fight it out with Coleman for the right back position but will be given game time since Benitez sees him as the natural successor to Coleman. Kenny played right back yesterday with Coleman on the left but with Mykoenko signed he will play Left back. I understand that Benitez also wants to sign a Holding Midfield player and a striker but there is no mention of interest in Kamara, (other than Paper talk) .
