I think this will go one of two ways. The board back gerrard and go all out giving him even more money to get rid of the dross and rebuild with better quality or he will jack it and walk. The latter option means players are bigger than the manager cause they aren't trying for him.

Right I'm not just saying this cause we got beat yesterday but is anyone surprised we got beat? No. Il start from the back to the front from my point of view weather u agree or not I don't care just my opinion. Mcgregor is still making massive saves but I feel his legs are gone not out quick enough or down quick enough love him but feel it's time young mccrorie went in goal an shagger should be the one to mentor him. Goldson all we hear from Gerrard is that he's a leader of men great organiser well I don't see that I see a guy that's a good passer without pressure on him if pressured can make the wrong choice don't get me wrong I know he's not going to be a pique but how many partners will he blame big weir could of played beside me and organised a more solid defence than ours is at the moment and I like katic and edminson there still young and learning so get a big center half in don't care how old that can organise a back line. Tav no much needed here he's our invisible captain not a leader poor delivery's most games poor defender get rid. Davis love him again but past it still keep him same as shagger for mentoring young docherty. Jack I like most consistent of the team but he's not a creator he should be box to box good legs in the engine room I would say if I was manager him and kamara would be vulnerable as 1st team players I'd keep both but one bad spell theyr off. Aribo best form all season was further forward gerrads been playing him in midfield my boys 2 year old an can see he's no a midfielder he's a 10. Not seen enough of kamberi to comment. Hagi I'd like to sign shows a bit of passion I like glimpses of quality. Morelos can't stay now he's got to leave get a few in capable of scoring 25-30 goals defoe can't play on his own upfront. Aww forgot barasic he's a quality delivery again but against hearts and Co he's too deep too do anying if he's more creative than Davis Jack aribo get him up the park so in my eyes we need. It was Gerrard that brought in the dross. Under no circumstances give that sorry excuse of a manager anymore money. Spend money on a manager the way celtic did with Rogers. Gerrard been here 2 full seasons not won a cup, not even got to a final, where’s the progression. A wee run in Europe had only papered over the cracks. Gerrard and his back room staff must go.

The thing that's annoying me is and correct me if I'm wrong that team yesterday was his other than tav and jack.

He tears them to shreds but this is his team and the guys he is questioning were brought to our club by him.
I'm hoping we stop wasting the supporters hard earned money and actually buy a better standard of player that wants to fight for our club. Too many players hiding. This hurts to say cause I love them but davis and McGregor look like age is catching up to them.
I can't believe how wasteful we are as a club. We started in bottom tier and how many of our current squad have came from our youth system. You look at every other team in the league and they are using their own youth system to fill holes and making decent money doing it ie Tierney 25mil. We should be motoring by now.
SG needs to firstly decide what he is doing staying for long haul or leaving. If staying we as fans need to give him time and support. Our recruitment process has to be better. We have probably spent more on paying players off in the last 3 years than we have made in player sales in the last 8 to 10 years. Most of said paid off players have other clubs lined up. Why not just sell to other club for free and add a sell on clause. That way if they turn good we can make a little money.

It staggers me how blinkered people are over how bad the vast majority of signings have been.

Mark Allen/ Ross Wilson/ Gerrard and staff - our scouting and youth system are a joke. A reserve team with Polster, hastie, Jones and Barker got beat 2-1 off Partick Thistle last week and before anyone says it, if they are not trying in reserve games when not in the team, that tells its own story and says a lot about the lack off research into these signings.

He reached the cup final in december but i agree not much progress, would cost a lot of money to let him go but its maybe the only option as he hasn't got it plain and simple. Braga was a great 2 nights but in all probability they will win another treble, that's 4 back to back totally unacceptable.

I actually cannot believe some of you people man. "Supporters". In december everyone of you will have been screaming we're winning the league. Gerrard deserves the chance to rectify it. Can say we should've strengthened in January but odds are there is no money. In summer he will/ should clear out tav, borna, katic, morelos etc and get the funds to have strength and depth everywhere. Forgetting much of our team is still cheap players or free transfers.

He signed only 2 of the 4 you mention and we are going to get rid of our 2 best players to allow him to buy more lesser players? That makes no sense.

Makes no sense to sell players of higher value to strengthen the whole squad? You're the one not making sense with that statement. Where did i say he signed them all? i'm saying he should sell them to strengthen the squad and club as a whole. Have to look across the city on this one. Sold the best player in the country at the time for 22mil and replaced him more than adequately. Just because you're attatched to a player doesn't mean they are unsellable.
