The shame of the day apart from Ridvans performance MUST go to the supporters in the crowd who continue to shame the club with Rebel songs from 400 years gone by and seem to enjoy this Draconian mentality --In all probability after a few pops that bring out the Inside Dinasaur in them. Once again shame on them.

I have to say i did query this the other week from a game at Ibrox as I couldn't hear much and some songs are often though to be sectarian but in realty are not, just offensive, and as far as I'm concerned the offense police can F876Ck off. Today however it was clear to hear for any watching supporter sectarian songs. The UBs seem to get most of the blame but not sure they could be blamed today looked like a right mix of support and 90% were singing the crap. If this was a official European game we would be punished.

Deecee; I couldn’t agree more I was sitting watching the game and all I could here was references to The Pope and The IRA when are these people going to drag themselves out of the dark ages, the shame they bring to our club is massive but do the really care I doubt it absolute idiots.

Sectarian singing I heard when watching on RTV with reference to the Pope. I found it all a bit embarrassing really. If they could sing with that amount of volume and intensity about their love for Rangers and our exceptional history it would be a wonderful thing.

Regarding the sectarian nature of some of the songs,
I didn’t take my kids to matches until I felt they were old enough to understand right from wrong,
It’s a shame really as i shouldn’t have had to feel this way.

Maybe the club has to do more to bring back old rangers songs. Of which I have no idea or commission new ones which are always going to border the cheesy.
It’s a hard tho g to do to get all on board but I’d be tellin the ub’s to do their bit in implementing old/ new songs and stop the sectarian stuff.
Let green brigade do as they please we don’t need to do it aswell just cause they do. More needs to be done by club as they’re ones facilitating the ub’s.
