Talking about the world cup which kicks off this sunday, who we all fancying fellow bears ? I always bet a european country and a south american country and my picks are spain and argentina ?I think because of where it's getting played, it probably more suits a south american country ?.

Bet Brazil to win outright, with Spain to reach semis. Brazil for me as they have a far better in depth strength squad in all positions than the Argies, but was having this discussion at the bookies last night with my mate, definitely more suited to a south american side although you'd be foolosh to write off the French.

If the incredibly corrupt officials who chose this location for the tournament are still in charge, then I'd fancy Saudi Arabia to win it. I also don't see it to be any more suitable for South American teams than southern European teams, as my geography tells me there is very little sand in either region. So taking all of this into consideration, I will trust what my auld dad used to say: Never bet against the Germans!
