anyone else think we are no better off than last season and Gerrard doesn't quite get what we Are! loan signings are ok if they are world class but not just kids. We have seen this before with Warburton zlammi and Dom Ball.

Rangers have signed:mcgregor, goldson, katic, Flanagan, Murphy and arfield. The back 5 has been drastically improved although I personally prefer a left footed lb. Arfield will add something to midfield.
As far as world class loans go who would you like, mbappe?

Some people are never happy, or should i put it hard to please, shorty4114! Of course we're better, with better players than this time last year! For example regarding our loan signings, coulibaly, sadiq and ryan kent in their respective positions, are better than what we already have at the club!

Sorry supercooper but you don't know that these players are better than what we have, unless you have been following these guys careers. I'm pretty sure like most fans you have never seen these guys play. Hopefully they are fantastic players but they could just as easily be the next Nemane or Dalcio.

I think we need to see how things go before we can say how much improved we are. It’s only been 2 competitive games with the new look defence and against a very ordinary side. Let’s see where we are after our trip to the piggery to see how much better we are or aren’t.

Supercoop - bit of a leap of faith there my friend, we haven't seen these guys yet!
Ibrox seems to be a difficult place for players to play?

I've most certainly seen ryan kent play and this young winger on his game is superb! He's better than anyone in the same position, currently at ibrox! Regarding coulibaly, just read gerrard's comments about him and he has seen him play, a lot of times! He's a midfield destroyer, is what gerrard said! We've badly needed a midfielder like him for ages! Umar sadiq, i admit, i don't know a lot about! But going by stevie G and others, he's a £10million player! Our full defence is miles better than last season! Is that enough explaining guys? Trust the manager and have patience, in the rebuilding process! Cheers!

agree supercooper i also have seen ryan kent a good few times and there is a top class player there a bit rough in some areas but will impress in the spl liverpool have just given the boy a 5 year contract and given they are challenging for the epl and champions league runners up will take players from liverpool that can't yet break into the first team all day long.

Our fanbase doesn't have patience, we've not given our previous few managers a proper chance at the job! A few bad results and we call for their head, my worry is SG will fall into this same boat, he has no real managerial experience so its going to be a massive learning curve for him and I just feel we are expecting too much from him and if he fails to deliver the results in the first few months we'll be calling for his head also, and if that happens our club is screwed! So let's get behind him no matter the results and give him our 100% backing, this will be a process over a couple seasons to get back into fighting contention!

So supercooper, to summarise - you haven't seen coulibaly or Sadiq play! You have seen Kent play, presumably in development league games or a similar level but these 3 young lads are better than anything we currently have because SG says so?

Think I will reserve my judgement until I actually seen them play for myself. And hopefully you and SG are right.

I have to agree here, we have had a big turnaround in players already and more to come most likely however it will take time to gel and I for one done expect miracles, 1 game at a time and go down fighting in any defeat is all I ask!
