Doom and Gloom? You better believe it. If DM gets the job, any hope of stopping 10 will be gone. The guy is a failure on the big occasions and always has been.
Finishing 2nd in a 12 team league when on each of those occasions 2 of the top 6 teams were not there is not an achievement.

We are going to pay about £1 million compo for him and sidekick, give a 3+ yr contract (D King says) so possibly a combined wage of £1m per yr.
We will be stuck with him as unable to pay off when it goes tits up. again.

I am not keen on Murty as manager but Here is a thought, Getting Moult and A. N. Other in January with the Comp money and Murty to end of season, we would be a far better team come end of season and in better position to get a decent manager.

Been season ticket holder since Souness arrived, but this could be the last.
Really really unimpressed with my lifelong club.

totaly agree with you. complete lack of ambition by a useless board. If murty had been given the chance to bring 3 players in he could secure 2nd spot easily enough. but anyway the board just want to be 2nd and are happy at that.

Coldo why is slim Jim talking a load of Barry White, it is his opinion and after all it is a banter page, I agree with what slim Jim is saying regarding DM, what has he proved and especially on the big occasion, backtrack his managerial career at Aberdeen and what to you see,4 seasons we were not there he got hee haw even when celtic had a dud as a manager, you and other believe DM will be our saviour, look around you man, why do you think celtic went south for a manager, I will tell you why because they saw nothing up here, and why not use the comp money for players, it makes complete sense, I'm not doom and gloom however we will see how many DM lovers come on here when it goes pear shaped, the board need a really big name, if you think that DM is that man well that's fine but he is not in the mould of Smith, Souness, advocat, and a few others. ok he snubbed Sunderland, but why,? Was he waiting on the Gers job or was he bottling it to go down the road, or did he genuinely want to stay at Aberdeen, his set ups against celtic have been questionable, why do you think he will be any different at us, DM is moulded into a certain type of manager and he is not for Rangers. And you can all take a pop but as I said it's a banter page and I'm only stating my opinion and agreeing with slim Jim.

For me the board a going for McInnis because he knows the league and will get us closer to Celtic and who
No's with a bigger budget available to him we mite even be able to stop them winning league and cups we need stability and he can provide it
All the other names are unproven in the league with the exemption of McLeish but he spent a fortune last time
