Frustrated I think he said it because it was what we wanted to hear at the time. Obviously if the right players are available on loan then the club will move for them. Not going to lie with this one it seems the right move. We spent a decent amount on Matondo for it not to pay off. This one and Lammers both guys lacking confidence fingers crossed they can kick on and pick up some form.

Think a loan deal on Sima is great business from us. Has had some injury problems past season. No doubting his ability as he has shown against us he can play. He also goes into the last year of his contract next summer. We would be in a very strong position to sign him at a reduced fee next summer and also save us some money by not paying a fee big fee this summer.

Yip I’ve got great feelings about sima aswell but shouldn’t we have a deal in place in which the player already agrees to join us and can’t say no if we choose to trigger the deal, like Tillman chose to say no so if sima is a success and other clubs want him he says no and we lose.
John or anyone can u help on this question? Is it possible to make the agreement now so that it’s upto us if we trigger the deal and not the player or the other club ie automatically triggers a 4 year deal at say £4/ 5m when he meets a certain milestone or the club chooses. As if he’s a success what’s to stop another club doing what happened with Tillman.

If Rangers get Sima I would expect one more striker to come in as a CF to replace Morelos. it looks like Danilo is the one being targeted. Assuming we get Sima and Danilo we’d also have Sakala, Colak, Roofe and Lammers. Thanks 6 strikers. Guys like Lawrence, Matondo, Wright, and Hagi are all there to play as inside forwards in a 4-3-3.
I have to believe Sima, Cifuentes, and a new CF will be the last pieces of business we do until players are sold. We’d have a squad of 30+ players.

Verdant, I would discount Wright, I can't see him being at Rangers come the start of the new season. Beale is significantly upgrading the quality of the squad and I would expect Wright to be one of those that will go.

Hi guys, not been on for a while and really came on to see if anyone can confirm or tell me if this rumour is bs clickbait, just heard from a friend that Rangers were looking at a guy called Emil Hansson age 24 and plays in Holland, seemingly the lad has 35 combined goals/ assists. Not sure about value or what contract he is on.

Bar72 it is Gio's job to put together the strongest squad possible and if that includes loans from other clubs then so be it. If he does not think players from the Academy can fill the void then its his choice. Yes it would be great if they were homegrown but if not then he must use every possibility available to him. Remember that it is his job that is on the line too and he is not here to simply give youngsters a chance just because they have came through the ranks. His job is to do the best for the club as he see's fit.

When i was in the black watch we had a sports bar which would get opened in every camp we went to. There were photos going back to the start of cameras. Slim jim and harold davis had pictures up on the wall. It really was an amazing sight to get a pint and wander about looking at these pictures. The boxing ones from the the 19th century were incredible. They used to fight until K. o could be over a hundred rounds. Tae the regiment come on the forty twa!

All this rubbish regarding Shankland would have scored more goals if he had played in that game, You are all forgetting about the 19 saves the GK made, would Shankland have scored the first one Dessers did, I doubt it, It's totally irrelevant in any case, We scored 3 and won the game, we move on to the next game, we concentrate on winning and 3 points, if we do that successfully the league is won, "simples".
