Can everyone stop banging on about Naismith and Lafferty etc? He's clearly stated he is going to recruit players he has worked with or has seen play on a regular basis? Reality check time. I think Weiss is a cert if we can fund it.

I hope he doesn't stick to what he's said to literally because that's what exactly what Warburton done and chose his favourites. Otherwise we might have a team of duds from the Quatari league. I don't see why the board or Pedro aren't mentioning anything about getting a proper scouting setup put in place.

There is no chance Weiss signs anytime before 2020. He will be making more money in Qatar than anywhere, apart from maybe China.

Wasnt Pedro earning more in Qatar. and he still wanted to come to the biggest club in the world. Weiss got hooked to Rangers during his loan spell and would jump at the chance I think.

I think both naismith and lafferty are no brainers. People might hate them but the truth is they are proven players.
