I have absolutely no foundation but I would not rule out the Podolski rumour. It seems very far fetched as far as wages are concerned, but who knows, he's a fan, so why not. However do we need another wide player, or would he play up front?

Don't think its significant amounts tho, and why would that have a bearing on Podolski coming here? And what kind of Rangers fan is he? A st holder? A regular supporter? Or somebody who said something to a newspaper about liking Rangers?
