The Lewis Macleod thing is disgraceful in all aspects. It completely puts pay to automatic promotion or even promotion through play offs.
Macleod himself, for me anyway, is a complete disgrace. If I were playing for rangers and had he talent and passion for the club that he 'has', and still getting his decent wages from rangers, I would NEVER trade that for such a mediocre club as brentford. Regardless of rangers situation right now it makes no sense that a true fan would move for that.
I understand that the club probably feel they have to sell right now but, in our predicament, 1m is neither here nor there and won't change very much at all when we don't get promoted

Tell it to the man DavidSomers@rangers.co.uk

Are u serious Macleod should not go? Play in the championship or the 1st division in Scotland! Even the Spfl is not as good the championship. Look after number 1. Do you think easdale etc are looking out for Macleod etc? To say brentford are mediocre and we play in 1st division with no money sh**e players and no direction I am sick of listening back to where we belong. At the moment we are lucky to be where we are. Give it 12 months and see if we are still doing as well!

Macleod is gone to late for any protests

@2 I am serious that Macleod should not go to brentford. It is a sorry state of affairs at rangers for sure but to expect every talented player to become a self-orientated mercenary doesn't sit we'll with me after all the club has done for him since the age of 10. Without this club who knows if he'd even have made it professional and to jump at the first sign of transfer is poor form. If it was an established premier league club offering big wages etc I can begin to understand but a newly promoted championship club who less than 5 years ago were in league 2 with no pedigree or history or massive fan base I cannot I'm afraid. Football should not be all about money for a 20 year old.

I'm sure, however, that there was an element of disgraceful pushing of the deal from our board.

Fraser, get real. Rangers are not in the business of turning down decent offers for decent players. Have you not noticed the last few years. We are being bled dry, and the directors have to make it look like they are trying to balance the books, somewhat. If the guy moves on it is up to him. If he is a true fan he should use his head rather than his heart. In case you have not noticed, Rangers are pretty mediocre at the moment.

Don't think you can blame young MacLeod for wanting to leave given what is happening at Ibrox, if this is the case and he really does want to leave! Maybe it's the SDM/Alan Hutton scenario all over again. Aye, ye'll be going! Right now, these spivs will snap your hand off for a million quid. Hate to say it but Scmck is right. If MacLeod has what it takes he needs to be down south. Scottish football is f***ed. Ask any Celtic supporter how he really feels about his team and the fact we're not in the top league challenging them. Brentford? They are on the up just now, unlike us!

As far as it goes what they get forvthe down payment won't help them much its one of the results of the boycott need I say more

8.) 30 Dec 2014
What I will say if macleod is pushing to go its just the same as jamie ness out injured club pays wages for long and weary and then they run away

9.) 30 Dec 2014
Young mcleod wouldn't have had a say in the matter the person board would have told him what he was doing and even for the purest of gers who the f@@k would want to stay at the club the way things are going

when are people going wake up boycotts this boycotts that blame them for everything get a grip of reality and direct your anger towards the board they have blew every single penny we have gave them the have had our backing long enough and done nout u can sit back and keep paying them there wages or get off our buts grow a pair and start fighting back so we get our club sick of people blaming ordinary fans as for macleod u do not no the reasons he left there is a lot more going on at our club than people think and it is directly affecting the players good luck to the boy

So stay at Rangers with poor coaching and chance they will go into admin and be unable to pay the wages whilst playing in front of a two thirds empty stadium in the SPFL Championship or go to an up and coming English championship can pay your wages (probably a wage rise) and perhaps improve you enough that an EPL club takes you on? Are you really questioning why he left?

12.) 30 Dec 2014
Maybe the guys thinking ,why should he stick around and fight for the club, when the manager, chickens out the promotion fight, and does a runner, as soon as results are not going his way.

13.) 30 Dec 2014
Bluebeard he was never going to win with this joke of a team
