Hypothetically, how viable is fan membership/ownership? should we stop relying on wealthy individuals? let's face it, whoever the porker in charge will fill his/her belly then trot on leaving us, the fans, to clean the pigsty.

I think this is our best hope for a say in things or to force the board to at least take notice. Nothing else seems to be working so owning a considerable amount of shares maybe our only hope. Unfortunately it would take a lot of shares and with too many fans groups pulling in different directions, which only confuses people further, and not enough people coming forward to join a fan ran share scheme I am not sure how successful this option will be.
I have joined a fan led share issue, and although it might come to nothing, at least I feel like I am trying. If all the fans who are now not spending money on merchandise and games had put that same amount of money instead into a fans share scheme I believe we would be able to accumulate enough shares to have a say or at the very least make the board take notice of the fans.
I can't even put into words the anger I am feeling towards Sommers and the rest of the board. Their silence shows a total disregard for the fans and even when they do break that silence they never tell the full story which only leads to more questions. They are treating the fans like muppets. The decisions they continually make are baffling to say the least. I sometimes wonder if they even have a brain in their heads between them. How can you select a new Financial Advisor who has had dealings with C W? It is crazy!!, whether they are the best Financial advisor’s on the planet surely common sense should tell you to rule them out as an option to avoid more negative publicity and further backlash from the fans. The trouble is they just don’t care about the fans and are treating us with total contempt. One other thing, I still can’t work out why they took Ashley’s loan over the other 2, makes no sense.
I think we will get the needed loans to continue but secured against our major assets. If Ibrox does end up been given up for a secured loan you would have to ask why they did not do that from the start when the UOF asked for it against their season ticket money. I am starting to really fear for us now lads.

correct me if I am wrong easdale Crichton sat at last years agm and promised they had funds at the click of a button looks like they where lying to us before boycotts ect they new fine well they would run out of money this season they have blew millions of pound on there bonuses pay offs brought no stability to club people to blame is the board not the fans as for cuts they should have happend a long time ago mccoist is just getting his excuses in case it happens to squad we only have wallace and lewis who will fetch any money as we missed opportunity buy our manager choosing to build old team instead of young players with sell on value total shambles the lot of it and for people to blame fans is a shame turning on your own

Bobsta73:That's the one that refuses to go away, keeps getting swept under the carpet. Who owns the stadium?I think Ashley would have offered a long term soft loan of 15-20 mill by now if we owned it.

was just thinking gkk, as I watch this drivel on the net, is that another reason why the board may have knocked back Brain Kennedy's offer? Did he have something in his offer that made Ibrox exempt from ever being used as a secured loan or being sold or something? I'm probably jumping at shadows but I just think the worse from any of our boards decisions nowadays.
