I have bitten my tongue for far too long in regards to poor performances and tactics. Foster is mince, he only ever played well for us in a few champions league games in his first spell and has given us nothing since but I am getting side tracked back to today.

McGregor is never a right back. McCoist is not being fair to him by playing him out of position. I was raging at the start of the year when he started him a right back. A new player who has never been close to a club the size of Rangers you want to make his transition as easy as possible but no we play him at out of position at right back so any nerves he already has are multiplied by 10. It could have ruined the guy's Rangers career before it even started but in his defence he battled back and has been our best centre half. So what do we do for our biggest game of season. Move our best centre half to a position he is not comfortable in. Total madness.
We have a number of midfielders who could have played today but no we pick a left back to play midfield. Again crazy! (even if you absolutely had to play smith and Wallace, surely it would make more sense to play the more attack minded Wallace in the midfield and smith at the back). Whether Smith deserved a red or not is debatable but the fact is he was giving us nothing before the send off. In fact before the red he had given the ball away several times already or had hardly found one of our own with a pass.
Then, as wee bill in a post below had said, we bring on foster for miller. WTF! I could understand the thinking behind possibly deciding to try tightening things up and maybe holding for a draw but Foster is not a good enough defender to justify that thought, wasted substitution, again madness.
We need a goal so we bring on Boyd (too late on may I add) you would think for Daly, straight swap but no we take McLeod off for Boyd leaving us with 2 static centre forwards. Hello, earth to Rangers coaching staff!!
I try every week to understand some of the thinking behind our tactical decisions and I honestly try and see things through the eyes of those in the dug out and just can't for the live of me work it out.
Another thing can anyone please, please, tell me why we put every one in our box when defending corners? It absolutely does my nut in. Miller does nothing when defending corners anyway so surely it makes more sense leaving him on half way. He can hold the ball up and would at least give us an out when we cleared the lines rather than the ball being cleared straight back to the opposition unopposed. This way of defending corners does not work for us and just adds more pressure so surely we could try changing it.
Sorry for the rant lads but it has been building up since we played a holding midfielder to protect the back 4 when playing away to Forfar in a Monday night game last year.

We have imposters at boardroom level who don't know what the feck they are doing and the same at team coaching level.
McCoist is clinging on as he will not get another job in football which pays him a tenth of what he takes from our once great club. Sad but real fans could not give two fecks anymore.
Crowds will be below 20,000 soon.
Good.
We are NOT the people.

2.) Bobsta 73 you have nailed it with that post. take a bow. I'm honestly up for getting protests sorted to get Mccoist out before it's too late

If Newcastle bought McLeod I would be very suspicious of any deal done due to MA's links to both clubs. Straight away I'm thinking conflict of interest and would not be convinced we would get the best price.

To be honest I absolutely hate them having a whole stand.
Ticket allocation should be determined as a percentage of the ground capacity.
It is not fair allocating us the same amount of tickets as we do them, (7,500 or whatever it is) when their ground holds approximately 10,000 more than ours.
Should be, for example, ticket allocation of 5% of the stadium capacity each. That would be fair.

The fair thing to do is determine ticket allocation as a percentage of capacity.
It is not fair given us the same amount of tickets as we give to them when they hold approximately 10,000 more at their home ground.
Should be allocated as (for example) 5% each of whatever each stadium holds.

Defense had a horror show. McGregor looks lost at right back, Two centre halves were MIA for second goal. Aird was good last two years as he was up against part timers so his pace and fitness made him look good against these guys. Now he is in against other pros they can match him for pace and fitness so he looks ordinary at best. Out of all the guys out on loan I'm surprised he was not one of them. Same for McCulloch at centre half, its not his position, has not grown up playing it, does not know all the little short cuts and things that go with experience of playing a position for years like Davie Weir had. He was always going to get caught out against other pros. Would have liked the young Canadian boy get a run at centre half but he would have need an old head next to him. I'm really taking to this lounge chair coaching :) lol

was just thinking gkk, as I watch this drivel on the net, is that another reason why the board may have knocked back Brain Kennedy's offer? Did he have something in his offer that made Ibrox exempt from ever being used as a secured loan or being sold or something? I'm probably jumping at shadows but I just think the worse from any of our boards decisions nowadays.
