A guy that sits in front of me at ibrox has just told me he got news from one of the guys who deals with follow follow, that stuttgart have seemingly offered rangers £6.75 million for our midfielder nico raskin ?He also tells me rangers have quickly rejected the bid as clement rates raskin highly and wants to build his midfield around him ? For rangers to sell raskin it would take a lot more than that for rangers to even consider it ? Thoughts on this guys and has anyone else heard this ?.

I really rate Raskin, but would depend if he was tempted by the power is with the players nowadays.

have seen much better then Raskin at Rangers and not seen him dictate our play or spray the ball about midfield as yet
So for me that price i'd take it.

6.75m is a good offer for Raskin he’s done next to nothing in a rangers jersey and hasn’t improved in the 12 months he’s been here. This is a massive 6 months for him imo and if he doesn’t kick on then we should look to cash in.

I like raskin but he's not irreplacable. He does often pick up niggling injuries. If they offered another mill would prob accept. Need lunny to sign a new deal though whos been like a new player since PC came in. we also need to start doing well player trading buy low sell high. Can no longer let players leave for free.

I think that’s a good offer and certainly tempting. I would however like to see what PC can do with Raskin when he is fit and playing regularly. I think he has great potential but we just haven’t seen enough yet. With the right coaching and development under PC and staying fit he could be a £15m+ player, a lot of ifs in that.

Raskin has only been here a year and injuries have stopped him settling. With a run of games in a settled midfield he'll end up worth at least twice that.

Jesus man all good and well saying punt him but then in 2/ 3 years time when he’s worth silly money you’ll be back on here talking about how it was bad business. Raskins a serious player yes he’s had a few injury’s but it’s not the end of the world I reckon he’ll kick on big time under PC.

Raskin is the most overrated player in our squad by a mile. He’s a good young player but that’s where it stops. As I said he hasn’t kicked on at all in the year he’s been here and if it continues to go that way then the time to sell will approach very quickly. For a 22 year old his injury record is appalling. For me he’s about 4th choice cm at the moment.

£6/ 7m is simply utter sh! te money! Put into context what we paid for Danilo etc. and Raskin has bags of potential.

£8/ 9m maybe. For me he stays get him in the window with European football, preferably Chanps League and watch the money increase.

Honestly some on here would sell the team for waaashers!

I like Raskin I thought he was brilliant end of Beales first season, stagnant this season under Beale with injury and what not but felt he looked great when PC come in then got injured, we signed him for about a million but he's had like 3 or 4 injurys already in a short space of time, we all know how this pans out, anywhere near they figures sell sell sell, very much doubt it to be honest.

Coming up to the last week of the window and timing has a lot to do with players coming and going, even if a good offer came in for a player it would depend on being able to bring a replacement in.

Alll these rumours, well I guess that this is a rumours site however from what I am hearing and the info received has been fairly accurate up to now, we will not be letting Yilmaz go to Galatasaray on a loan deal at the numbers quoted and most of the media noise is coming from Istanbul from Sports journalists that want Yilmaz at Galatasaray. What is more, irrespective of the Business Sector, the Turks are a difficult people to deal with on contracts, (Ali Baba and the 40 thieves sums them up pretty well)!

Everything I hear is that Clement rates Ylimaz as a starter and no player that is in his plans will leave unless we have adequate cover and can sign players to replace that will improve the team.

Mu understanding, but it is only from throw away comments in the City, is that we have money available to make signings this month and substantially more funds available in the Summer to improve the first eleven and as a result of this our overall squad.

I'm also told from folks that know Clement from his past roles that he will not sign players without significant research so given that he and his team have not been onboard for very long I don't see him rushing into signings that were based on the recommendations of previous Rangers employees without doing his own research.

Im pretty sure that he will have a good idea of what he wants as his squad going forward, if that means we wait until the summer to rebuild, fine. It is up to the players that are here at the moment to win the league and prove that they are worthy of wearing the jersey!

I’m still swaying towards raskin not all that I didn’t rate him from what I had seen then I changed my mind a little when he first started playing for us but our midfield badly needed fresh ideas at the time injury had made it really hard to judge if he is a decent player or not.

Been injured more than jack at his time at rangers so far and for a young boy that’s not a great sign.
