As Copland said Rangers are not interested it isn't happening and as far as I know and I said this a few days ago we are not in the market for a striker Silva is the replacement striker till the summer.

Silva said himself in an interview that he isn’t a number 9. If the player himself believes he isn’t a natural goal scorer then we’re not winning the league if we don’t bring one in. Sign Shankland and our chances of winning the league go up tremendously. His talks with Hearts will sort everything out. If he signs a contract extension he’s either staying or out of our price range and if he doesn’t then we are in drivers seat if Clement wants him.

Shankland is the new Wiess. Every window we talk about him coming. If it happens it happens. i'm neither happy or bothered. Just need someone in. I am hoping we’ll bring in someone we haven’t been talking about. Would love a winger and a striker this window but obviously a Lb is needed. For the same money don't think we would get emdy as good as shankland , many miroski Aberdeen but still think shankss is all round better. Listen to podcasts n phone in read the comments on the forum pages most fans want shankland, that's why it's always spoke about they want the best, n like it or not he is and has been one of the best past few seasons ?.

It's just an opinion but I think years past we have wasted not getting the right striker in
For one reason or another he's definitely one of the best in Scotland
So too me its a no brainer the way he plays he would easily bag us 20 a season
He's scored against celtic
His in derby's big goals in big gamed so he's definitely good enough for us.

Stream the other day with lots of input from all, concensus was strikers pants basically and service no better, someone threw in Shankland never really plays against a low block, so again chances would be limited n prob no better than what we have, think other probs exist than just the Sign Shankland Party, just my thoughts guys.

Hearts have supposedly offered Shankland a new deal if he signs it, then I think that will end the talk. Like some of the posters I don’t see Shankland coming either.
We need a number 9 and we’re at this stage mostly linked with a left back. I’m getting worried. Pc said there working day and night to get transfers. I hope so.

Rangers create chances and our strikers waste them. Shanklands likely will not waste the chances he is given.
We signed a lad with pace, Danilo, misses a lot of chances. Called that very early on and was told he'll get better. guess we will need to wait and see again, hopefully he can get over his injures.

We need a top quality striker that can score goals both in the SPFL and in Europe and if needs be we need to look for a loan signing that can see us through until the summer when hopefully we will have had time to scout the 'right' player and have the funds to sign them, whether that be a top quality Bosman or an up and coming young player. Unfortunately, Shankland is not that player!
