I spoke to an old friend today and he's under the impression there is another forward coming in and possibly a young GK. I was hopeful of a new CB and possible FB but doesn't seem to be to my knowledge anything close in that department. Is anyone picking anything up with regards to incomings?

Seems a few people are getting same info re a forward mate. Think once sakala goes and if we do get rid of Roofe that’s going to be the case. I’m very excited to see who this may be. I’ve a feeling it’s going to be a loan or a free.
Again very interested as to who the gk will be as it could spell the end of mccrorie and jono?

Desperate for some defensive cover.
MB cannot say he is happy with our defense as it is surely?
Understand some need to go, but clearly easier than said to make it happen! But we need CB at the very least as a first team starter.

For anyone who watches the youth sides or keeps up to date with them what about Hogarth isn't he just off the back of a decent season with Alloa do we rate him much. Same question for Wright and Budinauckas?

Can't see any club in English championship for example McCrorie would be first choice other than possibly Sheffield Wednesday and even there it would be difficult . So either lower league or go abroad it would appear or stay here accept good money and support and fight for a place as he would have to do anywhere else at a good level.

i think we are putting too much onto new players who we don't know can cut it in our league

we ain't got a lot of time too fall behind celtic with unproven players

Gadji I think mccrorie is making a mistake. If Butland gets injured he could take over and never look back.
Look at McGregor when letizi got injured.
We were willing to sell shagger to Dunfermline and they couldn’t come up with the £300k asking price so he stayed and never looked back.
I feel it’s exactly same with mccrorie. He would see off mcglaughlin no problem so he should sit tight this season and re evaluate next summer.

I think Hogarth is going out on loan again this season likely to a higher level maybe championship.
Recanted is meant be a good keeper think he will be the b team keeper this season.

We had 6 keepers listed with the B team last season and Hogarth out on loan add Graeme Smith the coach recently retired and younger than McGregor it would appear we don't know much about assessing keepers, so if M/ well want a couple and some money for Kelly we might be able to sort that. Though he had a few howlers last season but we might put that down to what's in front of him, can't see McCrorie going there for the wages he would be on.

CallamR Beale has told mcglaughlin he will be no2 next season that’s why mccrorie has said he wants to leave.
Can’t fathom it myself mate but apparently that’s what’s been said and done.
For me mccrorie should be no2 and given guarantees of 20 games a season if we stay in the cups obv if not his numbers come down.
Mcglaughlin we should let go for £250k if we can n if not I’d say he’s free to find a new club.
Mccrorie had a point here he’s never put a single foot wrong for us, I was unconvinced at Aberdeen but he’s always looked more than sound with us.

'Two proven forwards'. Proven in what exactly? Colak proven to go completely missing, not only in big games, but just generally missing on the park.
Sakala is raw and works hard but anyone with eyes can see we need better, and at £4m we are doing well to move him on.
