Barry it's going to take more than joey barton to get the title back, but he is exactly what we need in midfield.

No one really knows what barton is up to. The Irish Times says that he has accepted the Burnley Offer, all very quiet at Ibrox! Next thing we will see is someone coming in for Warburton! Can't help but think that we will end up with more mediocrity when what we need is four or five players of Barton's ability if we are to mount a serious challenge next season. If Saturdays performance is anything to go by this current lot would be struggling to get out of the bottom six! Leaderless on the pitch, no fight and pathetic defending. Add to that, totally toothless in attack and only youngster on the bench worth talking about.

What a massive test this is, but we are The Rangers and will beat it.

Think this will prove to be a pivotal point in the career of MW and test him as a football manager and a man. If he is the quality individual we all believe him to be, he also will rise to the challenge.

I hope JB does sign, but if he does not then so be it and we will move on. On the pitch we need to improve. I have commented before on the silence from the club and MW on our performance on Saturday. We got thumbed 3-2. Please MW communicate with us and tell us how we use this as a positive. Losing the final was not that big a deal although perhaps our preparation was not ideal. The club is putting out statements on non football related matters but continues to be silent on the game. Are we to believe that we are traumatised by the events after the match. Come on this is Glasgow. Come on MW and DW speak to us. Otherwise are in danger of resembling the previous owners and their dishonest and inconsistent behaviour. We have the moral high-ground on the wider issues. We need a straightforward football explanation now.

I agree, the silence by the club (statements aside) are rather troubling to say the least.
