We are in danger of AC/49rs cutting the loss. Its on a knife edge.
14 May 2026 07:00:34
Tbh, horsey, it would not surprise me, with the last 4 games and Rohl's family issues.
14 May 2026 07:00:46
Damn. ??
14 May 2026 07:05:58
So they're ditching it after one horrific season? Can't see it.
14 May 2026 07:21:23
Not true.
14 May 2026 07:25:13
1) 43 year low.
2) Waste their money on.
3) Don't know football.
4) Don't know Scottish football.
AC / 49 ers no great loss.
Or are we talking about Rohl?
Best leave him to Falkirk police?
14 May 2026 07:36:53
Confused if you're on about punting Rohl or 49s punting Rangers. 2 managers in a season sacked at Falkirk hopefully.
14 May 2026 07:38:24
Fact is the 49ers have made piss poor decisions on and off the park.
Get a better, more experienced manager.
Get a better standard of player.
Get players with experience and who have been in and around winning teams.
Get some more Scottish players who understand the league and the demands.
All of the above is not that hard to do. Fans have been asking for it for years now, and it's not happened.
14 May 2026 07:47:02
I have no idea how Rohl survives or even if he should now. But how do u manage a group that aren't good enough and have totally given up and don't care?
14 May 2026 08:29:06
I personally never wanted Rohl and I said at the time we'd never win anything with him. He's got to go. The way the season has ended means there's no way forward for him. His record against teams in the top 6 is shocking.
We were 13 points behind when he took over, and were 11 points behind today. We could end up being in a worse position after the Falkirk game than when he took over.
14 May 2026 08:44:40
What Wullie said.
14 May 2026 08:45:56
Whitehorse, you're far too cryptic here, cut loss with club or Rohl, either that or you're at it. ?
14 May 2026 08:53:52
Is this the same White Horse?
14 May 2026 08:54:06
Is this the same White Horse?
14 May 2026 08:57:31
What's your overall take, EHL? ? Will Danny Rohl, in your opinion, still be our head coach for next season, mate? ? I honestly think he still will. ?
14 May 2026 08:04:13
Whitehorse is usually a respected poster, but the last two posts are so cryptic. ?
You've made this sound more like a Board are looking to sell the club. If that's what you meant then I don't know what to say.
14 May 2026 08:58:31
Aye Pieter. ?
14 May 2026 09:05:23
So they are going to throw in the towel after them making mistakes, fair play then, get them out now, but I believe this is more nonsense though.
14 May 2026 09:10:51
Sws another utter embarrassment by the club if he stays after 4 losses on the bounce and talk of lost dressing room.
14 May 2026 09:28:57
Sir Walter, what makes you so sure of this? 43yrs since we've lost 4 league games in a row. Could be 5 come Saturday. Have we ever lost 5 league matches in a row? Could also end up more points behind Hearts/Celtic than when he took over.
His win % is on a par with Pedro Caixinha. Would you be happy with Rohl staying or would you prefer a change?
14 May 2026 09:47:35
Don't mention Falkirk Police please, Spanish Bear, getting PTSD mate. ?
14 May 2026 10:18:57
EHL returns!
I hope this is his next arc on the site, doesn't actively post, but just comes on to shoot down stuff that sounds absolutely wild.
Here for it.
Bring home EHL!
14 May 2026 10:23:22
Rwn1978, in answer to your question regarding 5 league games in a row: Oct-Nov 1983 when we lost 5 games in a row. 15 October 1983 Dundee 2-3
22 October 1983 Motherwell 1-2
29 October 1983 St Mirren 0-3
5 November 1983 Celtic 1-2
12 November 1983 Aberdeen 0-3.
14 May 2026 10:28:24
Find a Saudi prince, anyway, some good news getting Cifuentes back, so cheer up. Dan will sign a few more stoaters to stick on the bench, anything good in the German 3rd Division?
Get him a job and grab the compen soon.
14 May 2026 10:48:29
Absolute nonsense is putting it mildly. Some posts here just show that people talk about things they have no clue about. Our owners are in this for the long run, end of. Owners seldom sign players; that's down to people they appoint to carry out this role.
We have appointed poorly over the past year, from the Vegan to the CEO and others. We have appointed better, although I fail to see how Danny Rohl comes back from the last few games.
14 May 2026 11:04:28
Rwn, let me answer your question mate. Danny Rohl was never my choice to be our Rangers manager/head coach. Let's get that out the way first. ? I just think Cavanagh will give Rohl time to build his own team, that's my honest opinion mate. ? My choice for our manager since Steven Gerrard left was Kevin Muscat. ?
14 May 2026 11:22:29
Thanks, Sir Walter, just so you know I wasn't having a dig. ? Just can't see how Rohl can survive this, we can blame the players (rightfully so), but the manager/coach is a massive part of how a team performs and we're just not doing it. It's Rohl's job to motivate, and he just doesn't have that in him, I'm afraid.
14 May 2026 11:24:17
He's lost the fans. No one ever recovers from that. Do any of the itk guys have any info regarding this John, EHL, Wullie, Ibroxforme, Negri?
14 May 2026 11:37:20
Think he means the owners cutting their loss on Rohl - that's it's on a knife edge
I hope they have the guts to chop.
Danny is not the man for this job and a blind man can see it!
14 May 2026 12:08:09
I don't know about the rest of you, but it's the players that have lost me the past 5 years. Of all the managers, only Beale and Martin came off as incompetent. But the players, you see it on the field, where in 1v1 situations they are consistently outrun, thrown about, and outworked.
We have never had a solid starting 11 during this time. It always feels like we are playing with 1/2 a team.
14 May 2026 12:28:20
Okay, I think we need to take a step back. After losing our first two games, I think the players have downed tools, and DR can only play who he has in the building. Players that he inherited from Martins, so let's back this manager as we don't need another manager entering the building. Let him build his team and then we can judge him. As for AC and 49ers walking away, this is season one.
AC has learnt so much on his own and has become his own person, as before he had Thelwell and Stewart guiding him. So he will invest as he wants Rangers to be successful, which I believe will begin after the summer. I for one am looking forward to a good World Cup and then a strong Rangers winning all 4 trophies next year!
14 May 2026 12:37:31
Completely agree, Stig.
If we stick with Rohl, we know how it ends.
Another wasted season, more players signed who the next manager will possibly not want, it's a cycle we need to get out of.
Admit we tried with Danny Rohl, it's not worked, we move on and get a manager in ASAP to give him a full pre-season and players.
Another full season of bad decisions is on the cards if we don't move him on now.
No Rangers manager survives this post split collapse, surely.
14 May 2026 12:50:29
AC /49rs, no great loss? Are you kidding me? What do you think happens to the club if they pull out? There are no King and 3 Bears riding to the rescue this time. Their money has been spent. We need to hope that AC has been bitten by the Rangers bug and realises that they have made mistakes and have the patience to fix things.
14 May 2026 12:52:09
Getting rid of Rohl, we know exactly how it will end. New manager, no consistency or credibility with the team. We have literally done this every season since Gerrard. Until we commit to a manager, it will be the players that run the team.
14 May 2026 12:53:29
The point is that they shouldn't be downing tools - their attitude stinks.
I think if any of us tried that as consistently as these guys at our own work, we would be out the door.
You might not always give 100%, but you get the job done.
If they need inspiration they should talk to the man making the presentation to Tav - a true legend.
I'd love to know his thoughts on this bunch.
14 May 2026 13:26:17
Selling up to Red Bull. ???
14 May 2026 13:30:06
What I don't get is the cryptic clues and then moan about others getting annoyed about them. Makes me chuckle.
14 May 2026 13:52:44
Absolute nonsense - as Derek McInnes would say - disgusting.
14 May 2026 13:52:45
Orange, I'm seeing cryptic clues as guess work personally.
14 May 2026 14:42:42
Appears that way, my star. I just think you are creating a rod for your own back, doing cryptic messages. You can't really not expect people to pester you for more info, ignore them, and then get pee'd off that they then say stuff, ie it's guess work.
14 May 2026 18:41:15
I have to give DR a break here. Yes, results have been piss poor, shocking & an absolute disgrace. However, out of the signings Rohl has made, Rommens has been fantastic, Chucky has done ok & is still settling in, could be really good after a pre season, & Naderi, although not an out & out striker, does run his socks off & might also benefit from a full pre-season.
In all honesty his signings haven't been too bad; it's most of the pish that was already here that cost us this season, which isn't DR's fault. Can't win a league with only 4-5 players giving it a go.
14 May 2026 19:04:51
His signings have made little to no impact, barring Rommens. Chuk has been utter garbage for about a month and looks like he can't be bothered. Naderi has been injured, and the less said about Olsen the better.
