I know no one doubted me but as a new poster on this site you sometimes get judged a bit quickly.
As i said I don't know anything about transfers but buildings, land, maintenance and future development I tend to get straight away.
As you will see I said about the amount of tickets for the old firm game.
I look forward to keep bringing you posts in the future and what I have heard about Ibrox (development) very exciting times ahead.

Worried about being judged? Stuff everyone. This is a site where nobody affects anything to do with real life. It's where I come when I'm on the wine. Hence the name. I work very hard. I don't play hard because I can't be arsed to write rubbish to wind people up.

So, short term this year is small maintenance work, a fresh lick of paint, and an overview of the current structure.
As you can guess, they are reviewing capacity, and the initial talks are about how we can keep Ibrox traditional while bringing modern features and technology to the match day experience.
The thing I am excited about in the short term is that they are reviewing wasteland and how they can make a better fan day experience. None of this is confirmed; it is just a suggestion, a bit like the Nou Camp.
Where we have wasteland, like car parking space or advertising boards, could we build on this land for food, drinks, entertainment and bars?
All just at the suggestion stage, but I am excited at the level of investment these guys are preparing to invest.

Great post, WATP. Surely filling in the corners would be a great start? There's got to be space for about another 5,000 fans in those corners. Easier said than done, I suppose.

Will we complete the plan to put a cantilever on Broomloan in the short term, or has this been completely put to one side?
Where are we with lowering the pitch or filling in the corners to increase capacity? How far in the future would that be, if indeed even viable?

Club deck on the Sandy Jardine Stand, cantilever on the Broomloan, and fill in the corners. Stadium would look dynamite.

WATP, you might be able to answer, but does filling in the corners not normally cause issues with the pitch due to poor grass growth? I thought I read that years ago.
