Lassana Coulibaly

18 Feb 2026 19:11:46
Really can't see this being true. And, hope not.

18 Feb 2026 19:11:46
Again?

Lasagna Coolywonty. No chance. Danny wants to build something at Ibrox, and I don't believe that any previous player would be considered at the moment. This is a German trait; they like things a certain way, and I don't believe that he would be talked into signing underperforming players. He gets the best out of what he has, but why should he try harder for previous players? I think that with Danny at the helm, we are going to do very well in the coming seasons.

All we need is a proper striker to team up with Ryan, a couple of better centre backs to go with Fernandez, a right back, and we will be in good shape. 6 of our defenders are OOC come May. It's a bit concerning.

Go fishing much, do we. ? ?

18 Feb 2026 20:49:11
A proper striker, Whineonthewine?

What like a 10m striker. ?

18 Feb 2026 20:49:37
Whine likes to mess with names.
Here's my contribution.

Tbf, Fork, I saw an article on it this morning, mate. Dismissed as clickbait, as I really can't see it myself, but OP is definitely not making it up.

18 Feb 2026 21:12:42
No thanks, another utter regrettable poor loan. I had actually completely forgotten about him until I looked up his name. We've moved on, thank goodness.

The world is too serious and whiney nowadays. Think back to the mid nineties. Words we all used, things we said, things we did and pish we took. The films were great, music was tekno and 2 quid got us white light lightning. Rangers were unbeatable and times were good. Now everyone is easily offended and criticism is taken personally, when this is a rumours/banter site on which an editor spends time on and is punished reading all of our rubbish so nobody gets their feelings hurt.

Enjoy what we have and what we can do. And yes, I'm a trout master badge winning, anagram specialist with a doctorate on how to annoy people. Also, our superstar 10 million pounds superstar only has 7 goals in 29 games. Would advocaat keep him??? Stop being so serious.

18 Feb 2026 21:31:29
it's a German trait to not sign players that have been at the club previously?

18 Feb 2026 23:06:26
Whine, now that's a good post. ?

90s, we were king. Shove yer 80s up yer arse. ?

Ocean Colour Scene, bucket hats, Madchester,
Acid, E's, Oasis vs Blur, Rangers, Free Speech.

Be better re-signing Mateusz Zukowski, the lad we barely played, then released. He moved to Magdeburg in the German 2nd Division a few months ago, and the manager there moved him from RB to CF (one of his secondary positions when he joined us).

He's a proper striker now.
18-minute hat trick in a recent league game.
10 league games played, 9 goals scored and 1 assist.

We released him for free. Magdeburg picked him up from the team we released him to for a massive 250k, and now he is scoring for fun. Bargain. They will make a packet on him the way he is playing now as an attacker.
He scores 1 goal on average every 97 minutes since his new manager realised his potential as a striker and moved him to that position.

Ocean Colour Scene, lol.
They had one half-decent song - 100 Mile High City.

I preferred The Verve, The Stone Roses, and The Charlatans to Beatles-wannabe Oasis. Their 1st album was decent though.

Lasagna Cou' Le' Ballay is delicious, apparently.
French-Italian fusion dish.

Yes, Mateusz Zukowski is in excellent form as of early 2026, having transformed from a struggling right-back into a high-performing striker for 1. FC Magdeburg in the 2. Bundesliga. He has recorded 9 goals in his recent matches, including a 17-minute hat-trick in a 5-4 win against Greuther Furth in February 2026.

Background:
Rangers FC: Signed as a right-back in 2022, he failed to make a league appearance and was released in 2023.
Return to Poland: He spent time with Lech Poznan and Slask Wroclaw with mixed success before moving to Germany.

Just watched his highlights on a German highlights site. He is some player now since moving to the striker position. Cracking shot, excellent pace, strong on the ball, legs like tree trunks, and knows where the back of the net is. A bit of a poacher too, he seems to be in the right place at the right time in the box.

This rumour is up there with the Josh Windass rumour.

Ocs have lots of good songs. Going to see them in Nov in Aberdeen. One of the best bands I have seen live.

19 Feb 2026 14:24:21
Paul, some great tracks, mate.

19 Feb 2026 16:07:17
Ocs have had many great songs and are superb live. Seen them at least 6, though Oasis are the band of the 90s, none come close, and they are even better live.

19 Feb 2026 16:19:20
Loved both The Stone Roses.
And The Verve.

And Ocs were always decent too.
Laudruphagi.

All excellent bands.
