Very confident the takeover will be complete by the end of May. A full rebuild is coming. 12 players minimum are leaving. Next season will be a whole lot more competitive with us challenging far more robustly, and the season after is where we should be able to expect success. My source couldn't be better and I'll share more in due course. An interesting evening to be in the Blue Room tonight. Cavanagh, Steinsson and the 49ers entourage came in a short while ago. The deal is in the very late stages.
More than ever, the support is going to have to trust the process and show patience next season if everything doesn't click immediately. Huge change is coming and soon. It's going to be unlike anything we've seen before. Time to start believing and get excited.

In the Blue Room with our Board. A friendship allows the opportunity to engage. Don't get told everything and I tend not to ask but when things are happening I get a fair bit of insight. I will always share what I can but there are times when it would be clear where the info has come from and I would never risk a friendship or someone's trust.
We can be excited about the rebuild, the club being run like a major international club should be, new faces on the pitch, stadium developments down the line, major commercial opportunities bringing in much needed income, greater worldwide exposure, and more importantly, silverware. The latter might need a season of transition but I'm expecting us to kick in and dominate in good time. A seminal moment in our history, and a return to the good times we all crave.

Cheers Mark. I just want this so much. A team to be proud of and a chance to feel the magic of being back to winning ways. And for some of our younger fans to experience it too.
For the record, I think we'll have a different mentality next season and I hope we are ruthless. We've thrown points away and at times it's been criminal. I want to see us show the desire to destroy opposition teams. If we have that attitude, we'll be an awful lot closer to success.

Ibrox4me great info -IMHO If we bring in the right players with as much hunger and desire as those about to in charge then we will be well on the way back - but hunger and desire and winning comes from within hence reason for getting suitable players who have that as part of their DNA and not having our club having to beat that trait into them and thereafter we won't continue to be also rans - roll on the good times?.

Cavanagh has attended more home games than some of the season ticket holders recently and look at the distance he has to travel. He'll probably be able to stay to the end of the game too because he doesn't have to queue for the subway.
