Finally a response ?
So hearing Gerrard still very much in the picture apparently he was contacted and has had discussions
apparently they like him and feel he could hit the ground running apparently not been finalised but has had discussions and his name is high on their list
My mate still feels it's more than likely going to be Gerrard from what he's hearing as apparently he made a good impression and with the right backing could be their man to kick start our revival?
My mate says he doesn't think it will be unveiled for another 2-3 weeks doesn't expect it it to be imminent.
That's what I've just been told I'm only passing it on nothing more.
Told him I'm holding him to this info ?.

I think if it is to be Gerrard then links would have appeared from sources at his side. Journalists, pundits etc that he's friendly with.

Its not gerrard. It never was gerrard and it never will be gerrard. We can't go backwards to go forward it just doesn't work. he won 55 yes but what else did he win? Nothing 1 out of 9 and the 55 season was a treble waiting to be picked up and he never managed it. No thank you.

Look I'm not saying he's correct I'm just passing on what I've been told
Guys if you all remember correctly I did t always think Gerrard was the right appointment first time around in fact I said I didn't think he could win us the league and was fed up with amount of players he went through
Then he won 55 so what do I know ?
I could look past somethings line the way he left the club and took a long players through the door and many disappointments until he did win 55
But I like him as a person and his name in football etc
So I would look forward to seeing what he could do
Again only passing on what I was told
If it is Rose then I'd say that would be batter appointment and a fresh start and would look forward to seeing how he would have us play
So if it isn't Gerrard I'd be happy with a big name like Marco rose would be a big statement and intent
If it turns out to be Gerrard so be it I hope the 49ers back him and be interesting to see who his back room team would be this time around

Gerrard came in built a team and won the league assembling a good quality squad. He was also guilty of handing out ridiculous contracts paying way over the odds for average players. The reason he left was the failure of our board to back him to take our teamto the next level.
For me we need to focus on the future. I don't think Gerrard is the way forward and I'm also not filled with excitement with the names being mentioned.

CF5 and the coplandfront everyone is thinking of aren't the same person, I'm sure. The copland that had the good info was definitely CoplandFront and I think a number. But there was also a CF5.
