Does anyone know if it's the Park's that are blocking forward movement for definite, and is King in a similar mindset, seen a few anti Jnr Park posts someone mentioned a veto, oh to be a fly on the wall in the boardroom. Would be nice to know the antagonists and protagonists.

Agree2 Disagree0

Not that I'm defending the Parks at all however I can understand their hesitation to allow new owners. Look how it ended last time. They're dinosaurs and don't get modern football, there's also a bit of ego and pride in the mix, I don't think you can say they don't care about the club, they've now put Stewart and Koppen in place to run the club and I'm willing to see where that goes as there's no one coming to save us unfortunately.

Koppen may be seen as being inexperienced, but he's learned from PSV who've become the dominant force in Dutch football after years of being dominated by Ajax and Stewart has years of experience of Manchester United through good and bad. It's not going to be fixed overnight.

Fork, park, king not in the boardroom.

14 Feb 2025 11:47:33
From what I understand and hear it's not so much a case of the split being good Vs bad - it's more a split in terms of the direction of the club - or to be blunt about it, the direction that will allow Shareholders to recover their investment the quickest Vs what others think is a more sustainable pathway.

14 Feb 2025 11:48:26
Wasn't meaning that bud, was meaning is their shareholding preventing movement, and causing boardroom friction mate, just put it across all wrong???.

14 Feb 2025 11:54:50
It happened at Celtic, the only way their useless board allowed new money and control in was if they were allowed to keep their free seat tie and blazer, but no business or person of any standing will allow that and work with the imposters we have in place.

Rangers are a great opportunity for real business people but the current clowns would resist it as they would be kicked out and have to buy a season ticket which for a few of them is way too expensive.

14 Feb 2025 12:26:42
Overall we're trapped a bit I think. European regulations limit the amount to cash anyone can inject in to a club, so I'm not sure how realistic it is to think any new benefactor is going to come along and put a lot of money directly in to the clubs bank account to help us improve the team (though I think they might be able to do so to improve facilities / bricks and mortar) .

Plus, if anyone was going to do that, I'm sure they would want some degree of control over the club / a say at the head table. SO that would mean either replacing a current shareholder/ director (ie paying them for their seat at the table), or the club issuing new shares - which would reduce the level of control the current directors/ shareholders would have - which is unlikley to be popular with them.

M Mills - imposters and clowns? Really?

How many millions do you have in the bank?

We might not agree with some decisions or even direction of travel but to stoop to name calling.

I'd love to hear your detailed business plan for getting us to self-sustainabilty AND challenging for the league next season.

Athole I would love to hear our boards detailed business plan for that mate instead of asking a fan.

A review of the football operations.
Who are we trying to kid. It's just all about having the right manager who can sign the right players and sell them at the right time and when they are here play them properly. You do those 4 things, you challenge for things and it's as simple as that.
Stop falling for the nonsense that they are trying to sell you by saying we are having a "review" and please stop trying to dress nils koppen up to something that he's not.

14 Feb 2025 14:39:38
Don't think the board will be planning on winning the league next season anyway storm, it could be possible, but as we know we're struggling for capital to invest, hopefully a couple of experienced ooc players with Cameron and Kasanwirjo, rest will probably be young players with potential.

14 Feb 2025 15:10:46
So what are you saying the review of the football operation isn't happening like Ricky?
This happens regularly at many other clubs.
Koppen is very good at finding untapped potential as well.

14 Feb 2025 15:28:52
Mystar, don't think we are planning on winning the league for a year or two yet. 2nd place, Europe, and outside chance of a cup win, is our ambition. Unless something seriously changes, we need to get used to that.

14 Feb 2025 15:53:01
Bar agreed mate.

14 Feb 2025 15:57:16
I never said the were Mystar. It was more about the plan to self sufficient I was interested in but don't expect them to the same way I don't think we would expect a fan too.

14 Feb 2025 17:24:44
I think we'll definitely be far better placed next season for a good challenge. I expect a lot of the Celtic squad will want to leave for a new challenge, maybe even Gucci belt himself might want a new challenge. I feel we're better now than we were at the start of the season Cup loss aside.

Hopefully Koppen is able to get a good mix of exciting talent and experience. The OOC market around the world will be explored. I'm sure one of the chief scouts specialised in South America. Any players snapped up for the summer will have also have spoken in depth to Clement.

14 Feb 2025 19:17:07
We should be planning to win the league every year. We are Rangers. Fgs some of pish on here is unbelievable. Have we fallen that far that our standards are so low.

14 Feb 2025 20:09:31
Usually it emanates from whatever guise or name you seem to choose.

14 Feb 2025 22:20:00
Aye Red Arrows let's throw more soft loans into the black hole of finances and not actually address any of the issues. The club is broken, they're now attempting to fix it. You're the one with no understanding spouting pish mate.

14 Feb 2025 22:25:31
To make it worse. Is it not someone from Chelsea FC that is heading this "review" lol it's really comedic the place we are in right now . I would cry if it weren't.

15 Feb 2025 09:46:35
Shagger this is true but if you cared to look into this he was involved in Chelsea from 2007-2013 what a terrible period in their history that was. Stop being baited by headlines come on lads we're better than that.

15 Feb 2025 12:01:52
Rabbi, his reaction is just another free hit at our great club mate.
